My name is Tracey and I have recently moved to Canberra. I have been with Pawshake for a number of years and have worked in Darwin and Cairns.I have always grown up with pets and cant remember a time when I didnt have at least one pet. I currently have one older cat called Ally. Ally was a rescue cat who I adopted when she was 1 year old.. she is now 16 years old. Ally has diabetes so I have experienced in administering medications and injections. While I currently have just one cat, over the years I have had dogs, cats, budgies, peach face love birds (and their home hatched chick), fish, Guinea pigs and blue yabbies as pets. I understand too well that your pets are an important part of your family and want you to rest assured that they will be in good hands.My services include: Dog walking - where I will go to your house and take your dog for a nice walk. I can do multiple walks per day. Walks can average between 30 to 60 minutes depending on your requirements and your dogs needs. Daily house visit check ups - where I will come to your house while you are out and do what your pet needs for however long you want. Whether its changing litter, giving medication, refilling food and water, grooming them or just playing with them. I can also do multiple visits most days if required. I will also house sit and look after your pets at home if you go away.I know how important it is to keep your pets comfortable and stress free while you are away. I would love to come and help care for your furry friends. I can do multiple visits on most days. While I have a soft spot for cats and dogs, I am happy and willing to assist with most pets. I am in my early 30s, work for a private consultancy company in the city, and have a car for easy transportation. I have a 2.5-year-old ginger cat of my own, so I know how important it is to provide love and attention to your furry friend while you're out. I have looked after cats and guinea pigs for my friends over the past 2 years, and I found myself enjoying making new fur friends and taking care of them.
Services
As a full-time worker, I am usually available for home visits in the evenings on weekdays and anytime on weekends. At this stage, I can only offer a minimum 30-minute home visit. My services include:

Cleaning the cat litter tray
Cleaning the water bowls and replacing them with fresh water
Feeding wet/dry food (including treats)
Providing plenty of cuddles and playtime with your cat
Sending regular photo or video updates of your fur baby during each visit.&nbsp;

I have taught my cat to do "sit," "hand," and "high five." If you are interested, I can help teach your cat as well.
I believe in good communication and planning, so I am always open to discussing your cat's unique needs and preferences. We are a couple who would love the opportunity to take care of your dog (or cat/ferret/guinea pigs/chickens/snakes/fish/whatever wonderful pet you have) while you are away. Long walks, runs, zoomies, wrestles and cuddles available too, as required.&nbsp;
Lewis has heaps of experience taking care of a managerie of animals, including dogs, cats, snakes, rats, ferrets, fish, frogs, kangaroos, and so many more. He has either kept or dealt with just about every aimal you can imagine and used to work in wildlife rescue, so he's super practial and knows his animals. After moving interstate he misses the family dog, Jenner, back in Vic. In fact he stops for just about every dog we meet when we are out and about. He is regularly available during the day to go on little adventures with your dog - be it a walk around the neighbourhood or a run around the trails. Ayla walked dogs throughout university to de-stress from the study, and is missing hanging out with four legged friends now that she works full time. For higher energy dogs, where appropriate, we'd absolutely love to take them on our weekend trail run or a ramble around Ainslie or Red Hill. 
We both know what it is like being away from pets, and always make sure that owners are kept updated, and aware of what is going on. We are both very neat and clean, and when housesitting or popping in for a pet visit, ensure we that treat the place like we would our own home.&nbsp;

As an applicant for a dog walking position, I have extensive experience working with dogs and a deep understanding of their needs. My love for animals started when I was a child, Despite not having any pets of my own I've always had interest and compassion for furry companions.

Hello let me introduce myself - I am Christie &amp; my dog's name is Peanut; together we are 'Christie &amp; Peanut's Pet Services &amp; Doggy Daycare'.
The companionship of animals has taught me so much and enriched my life; I genuinely enjoy the caring for all types of animals . I have raised chicks  as a bird mother, been befriended by  dogs, trained  horses, been fascinated by fish  and made  cats purr!My first job was in an animal hospital as an assistant and I was soon offered a promotion and flat at the hospital to handle after hours emergencies and look after the animal patients during the nights. Now I am an older responsible woman who has no children who lives with a truely amusing little dog, in my own inner city townhouse with a beautiful medium sized secure courtyard garden. My dog and I currently looking to enjoy the company of other peoples pets and have no other commitments so I am able to give your pet my attention for almost 24 hours 

I have always loved animals, currently have two cats of my own after having a dog growing up, and have lots more love to give, which has drawn me to pet sitting. I am that person who remembers the pet's name before their owners, and that animals who need a bit of help or love tend to find everywhere I go (including while on holiday). 
My Experience: I have experience looking after rescued animals including fostering, and will respect your fur kids' boundaries and/or play with them according to what they like. Please note I do not administer medication. My personal experience is with cats, dogs, and birds, but I am happy to look after other animals.
Dog Walks: I enjoy keeping fit and will be very happy to walk your dog around the local parks and reserves and/or play fetch with them in your yard. My walks are 30 mins and because I work from home I can be flexible about the timing of these.
Home Visits: I understand how important it is to know that your furry family is safe and well when you have to go away, so I provide daily updates including photos to keep you informed and give you the comfort that they are being well cared for. Home visits are at least 30 minutes, during which I will feed and water your pet/s, groom them if required, and give them lots of love and playtime. I'm happy to collect mail, water indoor plants and take your bins in/out as well as needed. For your peace of mind I have a current police check.
If you are considering me to look after your pet/s I will first arrange a meet and greet with you and your pet/s to make sure we are a good fit for each other, and for you to explain your pets' particular needs. 
I offer dog walking and daily home visits (once or twice per day as needed), which is more comfortable and less stressful for your animals and mine. Please note that I only offer these services to Ainslie, Braddon, Campbell, Dickson, Downer, Hackett, Kaleen, Lyneham, O'Connor, Reid, Turner, and Watson.
