Hello pet owners! My name is Chandler, a 28 year old from the US on a working holiday visa. I am a former teacher and am currently working on switching careers. 
I sadly had to leave my family pet cat, Slate, and Buck, my sweet lab. I have been abroad for about two years now and miss being around animals that I can love. 
I have lived with cat, dogs, pigs, snakes, rabbits, birds, and chickens all my life. My family have rescued many cats and as you can see various types of animals we find around the house, I lived near a creek and a forest. We loved watching them become happy and healthy again. I have also worked for a company that showed animals such as snakes, reptiles, bunnies, amphibians, and insects. In addition, I have house/pet sat for a family for their lab. I would love to help look over your babies while you are away! 
I am currently living in Mentone and do not own a car so can access locations within walking distance near public transportation. I do not mind commuting within 40 minutes outside of the city. I am available anytime: mornings and evenings

Dog Walking 🦮
I can walk dogs for 30-60 minutes depending on the number of dogs. I can walk up to three small dogs and two medium size dogs. I will be walking the dogs around the neighborhood or to nearby parks.
Housesitting 🪑
I can stay one&nbsp;night- one&nbsp;month house sitting so you can feel comfortable taking that vacation or work trip without worrying about your home. I can look after pets and/or plants while staying over. We can do check in along the way. I am a very clean and tidy person. I take pride in my home as I will in yours! I am currently working as a veterinary nurse, however I also have experience in dog training, dog grooming and dog walking. I have been pet sitting for almost 20 years. I have a Labrador and two rescue cats at home who are loving older siblings to my 1 year old human baby.
I have a keen interest in animal behaviour and passionate about teaching owners about enrichment as I believe it is such an important aspect of keeping our pets happy. Availability:
Home visits
- I am available for house sittings visits in your home usually in the afternoon. I can am confident to administer medication, water your plants, bring in the bins, get the mail etc 
- each home visit will be approximately 30-40 minutes
- I can offer training if appropriate during the home visits, these sessions will be longer 

Dog walking
- I will take your dog around your local area or park if appropriate 
- Dog training while working is possible depending on what you need

I'm an experienced, knowledgable professional and proud fur dad to two spirited French bulldogs (6 years and 1.5 years old) and one demanding Burmese cat (15 years old). Having grown up with and raised various breeds of dogs (King Charles Spaniel, Jack Russell, Weimaraner, Pugs and Puggles, Whippet and Cattle dog), I have experience with young pups as well as adopted and rescue dogs. My experience with cats includes looking after Devon Rex, Burmese, Siamese and Domestic Short Hair cats (purebred and adopted).&nbsp;
