Hello my name is Elyse and I come from New Caledonia. I am currently studying at UQ University to become a veterinarian. My study will give me the best skill to help and approach any problems your baby could encounter during the stay. I have been around dogs since my birth and that where my passion and love for animals come from. In New Caledonia, my parents are owning 5 dogs (large one) and when I am there they are a big part of my daily routine. In New Caledonia I have worked with my vet for the last 7 years, attending surgery and consultation. Currently I am owning a female cocker spaniel named Thalie. She is my sunshine and will love to play with your furry friends. I understand that your baby could be more than just a dog, as Thalie and my New Caledonian dogs are true members of my family. 

During the stay your baby will have access to the outside and inside. Night time could be where ever your furry baby will feel like more comfortable. While I will be at university your baby will have access to the laundry and the full backyard.

-must be treated for flea and ticks

From a young age, my love for animals has always been a driving force in my life. As a mature-aged student, I made the decision to pursue my passion and enrolled in the veterinary science program at the University of Queensland (Gatton campus). Now, halfway through my 4th year of study in 2024 I can confidently say that I have found my calling.
Before embarking on this journey, I spent close to 15 years working in senior Human Resources and Recruitment roles, including a recent position in the Queensland Government. While I enjoyed my previous career, my heart always yearned for a deeper connection with animals.
As a pet sitter, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my love and care with your furry friends. I am committed to providing exceptional care for your beloved pets. I am passionate about all animals and promise to treat your precious pet with the respect, love, and care they deserve.&nbsp;
My experience extends to caring for cats, dogs, horses, guinea pigs, mice, and chickens, but I am open to discussing the possibility of looking after other pets as well. I assure you that I will always be reachable, polite, and professional when looking after your pets.
