The purpose for housesitting is simply because I enjoy travelling and exploring different regions of the country and have performed housesitting duties for numerous households of all shapes and sizes over the last six years, with responsibilities for all kinds of furry creatures, including dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds(aviaries), chickens and more.

I grew up on a farm with many pets of all shapes and sizes. Pets keep you grounded and keep you honest. After bringing up my wonderful daughters with pets in tow, I have decided to reintroduce pets back into my life on a regular basis. I have much experience with looking after pets, both growing up and helping out family and friends. I am in my fifties, and I can accommodate all different scenarios, walking, overnight stays or just feeding. Pets are an important part of all of us.&nbsp;
I live in the Perth Hills and can travel pretty much anywhere around Perth, of course the Perth hills and surrounds would suit me best. I can do short stays and longs stays if required. I am experienced with all sorts of animals, small dogs, big dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens etc. Pretty much got most animals covered. Don't do snakes though. I can water your garden too.&nbsp;
I can update you everyday with pictures of your pet and what they are up to, just like a human. Pets love you unconditionally and that is the best part, they are a friend for life. Can't ask for better than that.&nbsp;

Hello, my name is Leah.
I am a mum of a family of 4 living in the beautiful surrounds of Kalamunda.&nbsp;
I am currently staying home with my 4 year old daughter while my 13 yr old son goes to high school.
We would love the opportunity to spend time with more animals and enjoy going for walks, having cuddles, play and general work thats required for their wellbeing.
We have had a fair amount of experience looking after a variety of animals.&nbsp;
In 2022 said farewell to our much loved dog (Terrier Cross) of 11 years and currently have no other pets.
We have had chickens in the past and have also looked after our friends chickens and birds on a regular bases when they have been on holidays.
We have fostered a rabbit recently too.
In 2023 we looked after out neighbours dog unexpectedly (Pit Bull Terrier) while he spent 3 months in hospital and we formed a beautiful bond.
My daughter and son may help me out from time to time if it's a home visit.&nbsp;
They both love animals, will enjoy playing with them while being respectful and understanding if its not reciprocated!&nbsp;
But given the fact that we have a small child, a friendly dog/animal that is ok around children is required.
We have multiple spots your pet could sleep.. we have a nice cosy corner close to the fire place in the lounge room and a closed off office attached to the lounge room too.&nbsp;
There is plenty of backyard space and undercover areas if they prefer to sleep outside.
We are an active and open minded family willing to work with your requests and preferences.&nbsp;
We have a large backyard and plenty of dog parks close by that are off lead and leaded areas, we will be around the majority of the time, so your pet wont be left alone for long.&nbsp;

I am a 19-year-old nursing student who loves animals. I grew up around animals and currently own 2 chickens. I have owned dogs of all sizes from Maltese poodle to rottweiler. As I moved to Australia 2 years ago, all my pets are back home with my family, but there I have a vast range of animals. These include 3 dogs (a rescue dog, Boerboel, and Rottweiler), 3 parrots, 8 rats, and fish. All my pets get spoilt rotten and I hope to spoil your pets too, so they feel extra love while you are away.&nbsp;
I have previously done pet-sitting for a friend who had 2 large dogs for a week at a time and on another occasion, I did pet-sitting for the weekend for 1 dog.&nbsp;
