I grew up in WA with dogs and loved dressing them up and riding on their back coz I was so small  since moving to Melbourne I stop to say hello to every dog and would love to have one of my own one day  my friends complain that everywhere we go dogs distract me 
I have yrs of house/dog sitting experience, looking up to 5 dogs at once! and took up dog walking last yr which I thoroughly enjoy! I'm also looking into dog training so that I can be an extra help to owners.

Hello Elwood - I am your new local, friendly dog walker. I've grown up around animals and have many years of experience as a trusted pet and house sitter, and am confident looking after dogs (and cats, horses...&amp; rabbits) in both urban and country settings. I have managed large rural farms with dogs and horses, and regularly look after my neighbours dog whilst they are at work. I also have experience caring for rescue animals, so can be responsive to their needs.
I am a freelance writer/project manager and work part-time from home, so would love to help you with your animals - I offer dog walking and home visiting services in Elwood. Sometimes I look after dogs in my own home for a short time but it is not always an option. I am also happy to be your casual fill in walker if your usual walker or sitter is away or unavailable.&nbsp;
I live close to Point Ormond Beach, Moran Reserve and the new Elwood enclosed dog park, so will look to utilise these areas as part of the walking route if convenient to your home. I generally prefer to keep dogs on a lead unless an owner specifies otherwise, and if there is an off-lead arrangement in place then your dog should be trained to come when I call. I will collect your dog from your house, and bring them back safely. I am happy to arrange an initial quick meet and greet to ensure that we are a good fit for one another and comfortable to work together. Please note that I don't work with aggressive animals.
My rates are for dog walking &amp; pet visits in Elwood, 3184. I need to confirm my availability on a weekly basis due to my work, so unfortunately I cannot commit to repeat bookings of more than a week at this stage. Happy to answer any questions you may have.


Hi I’m Giorgia, I’m a dog sitter and dog walking from several years, firstly in Italy where I came from and now here in Melbourne. I've always worked also as a volunteer in my city doghouse, where I adopted one of my two dogs (Maya).
I’ll be happyto of course take care of your puppy, but I'd like to tell more about myself before.
I moved from Italy where I have a big pet family: Iago, Maya, Sky, Brenda, Zoe, Fru and Gina 
I'm an animal lover, experienced and confident animal handler and carer with skills in: 
- Dog Walking and Adventures - on and off leash- (walks last at least 1 hour). I'm used to walk more than one dog if needed and do many walks per day;
- Dog Enrichment and Purposeful Play Activities like walks and activities for mental and physical stimulation;
- Basic Obedience and Training, utilising Positive Reinforcement frameworks;
- House Visits, also for Puppies and Kittens;
- basic Medication Administration (I’m a doctor);
- Animal cuddles (definitely my speciality!).

In this moment I'm working in hospitality too, so my availability is mainly: 
- early in the morning if close to my area -Prahran- (from 6 to 8am), 
- in the afternoon to evening also after dinner if needed ( from 4pm).
I can also offer pet sitting in your house, It'll be a pleasure to take care of your puppy in his/her safe nest  or single daily doggy care at my home.
I live in Prahran in a single apartment, with a big living room, a kitchen, a big bedroom and a bathroom. We've a nice garden area just in front of the apartment.

I absolutely love taking care of dogs. I currently live in Prahran, right across from the station. I'm a student at night at Outubro and work as a cleaner a few days a week. In November, I will start my master's degree here. My journey with dogs in Australia began two years ago when a friend needed help with their dog. Since then, I have found great joy in dedicating my free time to looking after these furry companions. 
My services include staying overnight with the dog or cat, walking them, administering medication, feeding, and handling any needs such as pick-up and drop-off at the pet shop. I do not host pets in my home as I share an apartment and am unable to accommodate them at my residence.
I approach this with a calm demeanor, always ready to shower them with love and attention when their owners are away. It’s not just a responsibility for me; it’s a genuine passion. I hope I can help you by giving your pets all the love and care they need when you have to be away.

Hi! I'm Caleigh, I'm 24 years old and based in Hawthorn.
At the beginning of August I experienced the unexpected loss of my greyhound, Marlow. This has been heartbreaking for me, I have been taking steps to honour his memory in a positive way. It would mean a lot me to have the opportunity to meet your dogs and take them to the parks and trails that I enjoyed with Marlow. 
I have many years of experience living with and caring for dogs. I've lived with a chihuahua, a greyhound and a golden retriever at different stages in my life, I have confidently handled breeds of all shapes and sizes. 
I believe in the power of positive reinforcement when training. All of my dogs have been trained with treats and praise, I know that the best training results come from patience, understanding and kindness. I will always treat your pup with the respect that they deserve. 
I enjoy the Yarra walking trail and visiting my local parks. I always bring a bumbag full of treats with me on my walks! 

  I am very close to Fairview Park, St James Park and Grace Park. 
  I am close to the Yarra River walking trail. 
  I am able to drive to pick up and drop off dogs if necessary.

I'm from Ireland originally and I miss my own dog who's still back home so I've been looking for any opportunity to pet sit while in Australia. I do not currently own any pets.
I have experience with large, medium and small outgoing and energetic dogs. I've also fostered several dogs who required around the clock attention. I'm available for pet sitting, hosting and walking services. 
I live in a spacious two bedroom apartment with my partner. I work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm but I usually go for long walks after work in Albert Park or by the beach. I also own a car and can pickup and drop off if needed around the Melbourne suburbs. 
Please let me know all requirements in advance such as medication if needed, feeding times and serving size. I'm also only prioritising house trained pets at this time as my apartment is predominantly carpet.

A life long pet lover, we always had a cat and / or dog growing up along with the occasional Axolotyl, mouse or rat.
I'm a proud cat mum of a bossy black boy and have the camera roll full of pet photos to prove it. I'd love to be able to add a dog to the mix, but my small one bedroom apartment (and my sister who is a Veterinarian) won't allow it. 
I'm the older sister to a very outgoing Cairn Terrier (my parents retirement dog) and a beautiful ginger ninja, along with Aunty to a mix of cats and dogs around Melbourne. 
I'm fit and active and enjoy long walks - a furry companion would be an added bonus. 
I'd love to look after your dog or cat when you aren't able to either with dog walks or visits to your house to feed your fur child. 
Home visits would be a 30minute check in, including feeding and providing playtime and enrichment activities. Happy to water plants and clear letterboxes as part of this visit. 
Dog walks would be an hour at a time. I don't have any formal obedience training qualifications but I've gotten mum and dads Cairn Terrier to shake.

Different dog breeds I've lived with,walked and took care off, are all sizes from small to big, short hair to long hair, included but not limited to, French bulldog, greyhound, Australian shepherd, border collie, Yorkshire terrier, maltipoo and Dalmatian. But I do consider myself comfortable and confident around all dog breeds.
I live together with my partner, who grew up with cats and dogs as well, he works from home, so in between the two of us, someone is always home! The safety of your animal is very important to us, that's why I prefer to meet your animal to make sure we get along, before agreeing to a booking espically if it's overnight!
We are close to some off leash dog parks and love to get 2 big walks in a day, but I undertand every dog has their own routine and needs, so happy to chat about it :)

Hello I'm an experienced and passionate dog who would love to look after your furry friend. I live in South Yarra, just beside Fawkner park which is great for onlead and off lease walks. My house is spacious with a decent sized backgarden, providing plenty of space for your dog to hang out and play.Personally, I'm 30 and originally from Ireland. I have lots of experience with dogs having had various family dogs, minding friends dogs and now having my own 2 year old golden Retriever Rua. Rua is really friendly and likes to play a little, but mostly she is quite independent. The house is big enough so the dogs can hang together or can also have solo time too.As a dog owner myself, I understand the challenges of finding a reliable dog minder when you need it. I'll be sure to share lots of updates and photos of your doggo so you know how much fun they are having.Available for day care or over night Thurs night - Tuesday mornings most weeks. I work from the office tuesday-thursday so I try avoid day care during those days unless exception.
