My name is Mel and I started petsitting in 2013 alongside my part-time professional role in fundraising and events. I'm required to have a current Police check and Working with Children check for my work and I'm happy to share them with you.
I've previously operated independently for many years, through Word of Mouth and Instagram @MelTheMinder 
After a break, I've registered now with Pawshake as a new sitter. I have plenty of sitting references that I would be happy to share with you as confirmation of my experience.
I'd welcome you to take advantage of my introductory rates to do a test run with your little furry friends.
It's a treat spending my free days with animals, life really doesn't get much better than that.&nbsp;
I'm available for drop-ins including:
- drop in and feed
- change litter trays
- medicate those needing it
- play with your little ones!
I'm happy to bring in the post while I'm there, put the bins in or out, water your plants or pick up parcels, too.

I've grown up with large dogs and special needs cats in the household and I currently have one special needs cat. My house isn't suitable for a dog to stay over yet, but I'm working on it.
I am available on weekdays and weekends and am able to be relatively flexible, in terms of time of day.

While previously only using pawshake to find sitters for my pupsI thought it was time to give back. !We are a family of 4 with a 3 and 5 year old who love dogs!With a young family your pet will be smothered in attention !I am a casual healthcare worker and my husband is a full time tradie.Between the 2 of us with our young children there is always someone home to tend to the animals.We have 2 crazy pugs that are 10 years old that bring us joy, our pups love playing with new friends but your pup will have to be happy around children and other puppies .We are often at the beautiful off leash Newport dog park, or playing outside in our large fully fenced front and backyard.We are on a large single block with a big backyard to play in with parks and beaches close by .We would love to add your pup to the fun.Contact for more info and know your pup is in good hands.
