I worked my own business as 'Parkland Pets' about 8 yrs ago.I did a business course at centerlink which was fun, it gave me something to achieve rather than looking up jobs online.
I started my business at grooming and washed all breeds and always loved it,some would want Excersice and others wanted general care when they went away ,and that was fun too.I did this for 2 years and then i cared for my mum which took up most of my time.
Walking the dogs was great excersice for me and the dog and they were always happy to see me when i came over, they knew what they were in for and ready to go.
Ive done some caring of cats, theyre easy to feed and look after as they dont need alot, theyre self sufficient but cant open theyre canned food or containers and dont have the hands they need to turn on our water outlets and im great at that.Ive had a few cats at home with only one stand out cat, a boy named Bigkitty, he behaved mostly like all my dogs, very friendly and slept at the edge of my bed, most of the others were owned by my partner.
Ive owned birds all my life and get on with most of then, easy to feed and change out their litter and i have no worries in caring for them aswell.
Ive had dogs all my life, most every dog has a special bond with me.My dog has always been my best friend,like most people,some dont get along with others ,but i can trust my dog, theyre well trained and love me no matter whats going on with my life, they can feel it and know i care about them as they do for me.
My dog gets a walk everyday,rain hail or shine,its the best time for her to get out.She gets a walk on the beach once a week and gets a wash in salt water and she gets home smelling great.She gets the best food everyday,but only gets one meal.!

I am comfortable and confident handling reactive pets and will work with you to plan out the best way to meet them, visit them or walk them! I own a reactive dog myself and she's taught me basically everything I know including how to approach (or not), what body language to look out for and that eye contact = big no for most fearful pups.

ABOUT ME:
I have been pet hosting for over a year now and welcomed over 50 different dogs into our home.&nbsp;
I am an animal lover, particularly dogs. I have grown up with cattle dogs, a Maltese, a Corgi and a German Shepherd and a few bunnies along the way. I love meeting all the different personalities of our guest dogs, and yes I’m that person who talks in a baby voice to all the dogs I see In my travels. I can’t help but to say Hello to them all.&nbsp;

I’m a firm believer in routine and will establish one with all guest dogs so they feel safe and comfortable whilst in our care.

ABOUT OUR FAMILY:
But it’s not just me who will be looking after your fur baby. My husband has grown up with dogs, he used to have a Rottweiler sleep on his bed growing up!
We have 2 daughters who have an affinity towards all animals and will provide plenty of attention and distraction for our pet guest.&nbsp;
And finally we have two small dogs of our own who are socialised and desexed. Whilst they are not particularly playful, they enjoy the excitement from extra guest dogs in the house.

SLEEPING:
Our dogs happily sleep in their crate inside overnight. The sleeping options available include: back room with lounge; crate (can be in a bedroom or in the living area) or the laundry. We know the first night can be a bit daunting, and we prepare for that and put strategies in place to ensure your puppy is comfortable at bed time so that we all have a good sleep.&nbsp;

PLAYTIME:
We have a large securely fenced yard and pet friendly house including a large doggy door so your fur babies can access the house and yard at their leisure.
Because of this, we do require guest dogs to be toilet trained inside, also there is no access to the backyard for 8 hours overnight.&nbsp;

When you book, we block time out specifically to spend extra time with your fur baby so that they know they are safe and loved in our home.

We live in a quiet street, near lots of quiet walking tracks, and enjoy walking the guest dogs daily. Usually approx 30min walk. If its a bigger or more active dog, we will increase the speed or number of hills. Weekdays we will go for an exercise based walk and limit stops, however, on weekends we will go for a longer walk so they can explore as well. Its ok if your dog pulls on the lead, though we encourage and reward when they respond to commands during the walk.

COMMUNICATION:
I send through regular pictures of your pet and updates so you know how they’re going.&nbsp;

Before placing a booking, please advise as to whether your pet has any behavioural issues, favourite toys/treats or fears.&nbsp;
Please describe their personality so we can adapt in order to care for your pet effectively.

CHARGES INFO:
Note: per night rate is for a 24hr period. Eg: Where you need to drop off in the morning and pick up late afternoon, an extra day rate will be added.
Puppy Surcharge for all dogs under 6months old.
Peak period Surcharge of $20 per day.
I had completed a Police Check and happy to share with you to review upon request.

I work in health administration and live with 3 dogs (a German Shepherd, a Chihuahua cross and a terrier cross) a cat, and a lizard (a blue tongue). I have always lived with cats since I was a little girl and discovered the joy that dogs bring to a home as an adult. I love meeting new pets and learning about their personalities. I enjoy walking, and exploring new places, preferably with a furry friend. My favourite way to spend an evening is knitting while watching a movie or listening an audio book with a furry friend curled up next to me or on my lap. I've also lived with budgies, a house rabbit and chickens. I am comfortable taking care of reptiles and fish but no spiders please! I am also a crazy plant lady and your house plants will be well cared for if you require in home sitting. I have recently obtained a police check.


Hi, my name is Malina and born 1992. I currently live in Warwick Farm and work at Liverpool Hospital in administration and work from home 2 days a week. I live with my husband who also works at Liverpool Hospital. We are proud parents of our cheeky mischievous furbaby Milo, Jack Russell born 07/2022. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment and I take Milo out to the dog park on Sundays and he joins me at park run on Saturdays for releasing all that pent up energy throughout the week. Milo is very friendly and playful with other dogs. Prior to Milo, I had 2 other dogs which I raised from puppy till old age. It was tough losing them however I know it was over a decade of joy for everyone and totally worth it. I do enjoy holidays and leave Milo with a fellow pawsitter too. I understand how hard it is to leave your furbaby with someone else and trust that they will be okay. Similarly I understand that it will take time for your furbaby and will be anxious to be in a new environment and routine too. I prefer to meet and greet prior to accepting request just to see if the dogs will get along. My only request is for the other dog to be desexed and have up to date vaccinations please. In return, I am happy to play, wash, feed and walk your dog as often as required.Thank you for considering me to pet sit your furbaby. I will endeavor to cater to all their needs and ensure a smooth transition into my home while you are away.
