Hey there! I am Xavy (38) and I am doing house sitting and dog / cat minding on a regular base together with my husband Esteban (36). We do this since 8 years and there have been months we have barely seen our own home :-)
I am from the Netherlands and Esteban is from Argentina; we got married on the Sunshine coast and we live in Wurtulla. We chose to live here on the Sunshine Coast, Maroochydore area, because I feel this is a very good place with lovely people and very beautiful nature.We are both very responsable people who love nature and animals and we really enjoy to play with them and take care of them. Your pet will be in good hands with us :-) We use pawshake to become more in contact with animals and it is awesome to share some more walks and cuddles here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast with a happy pet and play with them. I used to have a cat, a dog and two ferrets in my house (my lovely parents are minding them now in the Netherlands) so I'm very keen in taking care of animals. Here on the Sunshine Coast we usually are dogminding at the owners' houses so the dogs don't have to leave their home, which is much better for them. Not only do we know what their behavior is like in their own environment and where they like to sleep, etc., we have also noticed they feel much happier and less stressed, because they miss their owners sometimes and taking them away from their known area is causing more stress, which is really unnecessary and something we like to prevent. Nothing is better to not having to worry about your dog while you are away! And for us humans it is also good to have a break of daily life and experience how other people live. That feels like a mini holiday for us :-) We love to make nice trips with the dog for example to Mooloolaba beach, Ewen Maddock Park, sometimes we go fishing (we then built a shelter for the dog so he doesnt get sunburned), and we can take your dogs to the dog park. Or if you want the dog to be walked in a different way we can adapt to that, ofcourse. We are also happy to stay at your home most of the time, if your pet likes that more. We will send you some photo updates through the pawshake app. The other good thing about housesitting is that we can water your plants and take in the mail while you are away. No extra charge and you don't have to rely on your neighbours. If you have a dog that only needs some care during the day, I can't take the dog to my house unfortunately. I can take him or her for a good walk around during the day in stead. We are quite flexible timewise. Feel free to contact me as well about other pets, such as cats, reptiles, turtles, guinea pigs, domestic rats, etc. If you want we can even take your cat out for a walk if you have a little cat leash ;-) When you make an inquiry please tell me what your dogs needs are and where you live. I offer daycare and 1 off visits on the Sunshine Coast. Please note I service the Brightwater &amp; Mountain Creek area only.
Your dog must be well socialised if requiring daycare as I have a French bulldog who is super chill and they will be sharing the backyard throughout the day. When it is hot, they will be inside in the air con or under a fan. 
I have plenty of experience feeding, administering medication and generally caring for animals. I've had both cats and dogs my whole life, as well as having worked in animal welfare. 
I have experience with snub nosed breeds (both cats and dogs), so if your furry friend has special requirements for walking, feeding etc. 
Sadly I cannot offer overnight accommodation at my house.

I'm studying my certificate 2 in animal studies and once I get it I'm going to add grooming to my services and eventually going to get a car and add another service with would be fur baby fun Uber it's like a normal Uber but I take all animals and not just service dogs. oh btw Fur baby fun is the name of me business. I do offer meet and greet first too so you know you can trust my with your babies and as you can read on my profile I have two dogs of my own who r sisters and both 6 years old. I volunteer at SCARS ( Sunshine Coast animal refuge) one day a week in the cattery and I love it. I hope to open up a Fur baby fun place and hire more people to help&nbsp;

Hi! My name is Kaitlin. I'm 21 and I am a student studying psychology in Brisbane, but living on the Sunshine Coast. I enjoy having meals with my friends, camping, running, pilates and going to the beach (bonus if I get to bring a furry friend)! I love spending time with my family also. I am very clean, tidy and respectful of people's space, so it's likely you will return to your home cleaner than you left it (I can be a bit of a clean freak ). I love animals, but especially dogs. Unfortunately my dog passed away recently and I am missing having a fluffy companion :/ 
I can house sit and pet sit for any animal besides cats, as I am unfortunately allergic. I will be sure to take good care of your animals whilst you're away as I can take doggies on as many walks as they like and will keep them in good company!
