Hey there! I am Xavy (38) and I am doing house sitting and dog / cat minding on a regular base together with my husband Esteban (36). We do this since 8 years and there have been months we have barely seen our own home :-)
I am from the Netherlands and Esteban is from Argentina; we got married on the Sunshine coast and we live in Wurtulla. We chose to live here on the Sunshine Coast, Maroochydore area, because I feel this is a very good place with lovely people and very beautiful nature.We are both very responsable people who love nature and animals and we really enjoy to play with them and take care of them. Your pet will be in good hands with us :-) We use pawshake to become more in contact with animals and it is awesome to share some more walks and cuddles here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast with a happy pet and play with them. I used to have a cat, a dog and two ferrets in my house (my lovely parents are minding them now in the Netherlands) so I'm very keen in taking care of animals. Here on the Sunshine Coast we usually are dogminding at the owners' houses so the dogs don't have to leave their home, which is much better for them. Not only do we know what their behavior is like in their own environment and where they like to sleep, etc., we have also noticed they feel much happier and less stressed, because they miss their owners sometimes and taking them away from their known area is causing more stress, which is really unnecessary and something we like to prevent. Nothing is better to not having to worry about your dog while you are away! And for us humans it is also good to have a break of daily life and experience how other people live. That feels like a mini holiday for us :-) We love to make nice trips with the dog for example to Mooloolaba beach, Ewen Maddock Park, sometimes we go fishing (we then built a shelter for the dog so he doesnt get sunburned), and we can take your dogs to the dog park. Or if you want the dog to be walked in a different way we can adapt to that, ofcourse. We are also happy to stay at your home most of the time, if your pet likes that more. We will send you some photo updates through the pawshake app. The other good thing about housesitting is that we can water your plants and take in the mail while you are away. No extra charge and you don't have to rely on your neighbours. If you have a dog that only needs some care during the day, I can't take the dog to my house unfortunately. I can take him or her for a good walk around during the day in stead. We are quite flexible timewise. Feel free to contact me as well about other pets, such as cats, reptiles, turtles, guinea pigs, domestic rats, etc. If you want we can even take your cat out for a walk if you have a little cat leash ;-) When you make an inquiry please tell me what your dogs needs are and where you live. My life is all about animals.  whether it be for my work or at home, I always have surrounded myself with animals.  I have been dog minding for over 9 years now and we love having new pooches come and stay in our home.  I have 2 young children who love meeting new dogs and having them stay with us.  My own 2 dogs are very welcoming and enjoy the company and socialisation other dogs offer when staying.  I have 2 degrees in Zoology and the Environment and I work as a widlife educator so my knowledge of a range of animals is broad.
All dogs have the run of the house when they stay.  They can sleep wherever they want and can enjoy being either inside or outside.  i have a large block where the dogs can run around and enjoy the sun.  It is fully fenced however I always suggest to come and meet us and take a look at the property so everyone is happy!
Dogs must be house trained and able to be left alone for time throughout the day as I do work.  I offer short or long stays.  Dogs must be vaccinated and up to date with worming and tick treatment as my property is close to bush land.  While i only walk dogs around on the roads, treatment is imperative (just in case!).

Your dog must be well socialised if requiring daycare as I have a French bulldog who is super chill and they will be sharing the backyard throughout the day. When it is hot, they will be inside in the air con or under a fan. 
I have plenty of experience feeding, administering medication and generally caring for animals. I've had both cats and dogs my whole life, as well as having worked in animal welfare. 
I have experience with snub nosed breeds (both cats and dogs), so if your furry friend has special requirements for walking, feeding etc. 
Sadly I cannot offer overnight accommodation at my house.

My name is Emma and I'm a 29 year old mum to a beautiful 4 year old little girl &amp; fur baby Thor who is a 5 year old American Staffy (massive gentle giant). I have had dogs my whole life and my last 2 dogs have been rescues so have experience with dogs that have anxiety or a timid. Your fur baby will have the full run of our house like their own and will be apart of the family, they will be loved and cared for as if they were mine so you don't have to worry whilst on a holiday or not being able to be with your fur baby. My daughter absolutely loves all dogs big or small and my dog Thor loves having company he always shares his bed and toys. Anything your fur baby needs food, special needs, medications etc I can accommodate. I will send you regular updates with photos and activities we have done, also daily walks are included, beach &amp; park trips. I can administer oral medication &amp; also via needle if required, I can facilitate and accommodate for any diet your fur baby requires and if they have a schedule I will follow it.

Hi! My name is Kaitlin. I'm 21 and I am a student studying psychology in Brisbane, but living on the Sunshine Coast. I enjoy having meals with my friends, camping, running, pilates and going to the beach (bonus if I get to bring a furry friend)! I love spending time with my family also. I am very clean, tidy and respectful of people's space, so it's likely you will return to your home cleaner than you left it (I can be a bit of a clean freak ). I love animals, but especially dogs. Unfortunately my dog passed away recently and I am missing having a fluffy companion :/ 
I can house sit and pet sit for any animal besides cats, as I am unfortunately allergic. I will be sure to take good care of your animals whilst you're away as I can take doggies on as many walks as they like and will keep them in good company!
