Hello, My name is Rhonda.I have always had pets - mostly cats and dogs. Throughout my married life and while raising children, I have tended to have labradors and more recently we have fallen in love with golden retrievers. I love that each animal has its own unique personality and I am constantly amazed at the sensitivity our dogs show in various situations.My husband and I are semi-retired and live on an acre at Mt Crosby so there is lots of room for our dogs to run around. the yard is fully fenced with very secure gates.We have a modern brick and tile home. We have hens and the neighbours have goats so it is quite a semi-rural area in a way. Our dogs are part of the family and are allowed inside (except when we are cleaning the floor). They are happy to sleep on our expansive deck at night and have both indoor and outdoor beds. Your furry friends will not be short of attention as we are at home for most of the day. I have a part-time teaching job which takes me out of the house for three mornings a week but I am always home before midday. We do not have a lot of social commitments so have good availability to accept newcomers.We have several regular little visitors who quickly become part of the family and we have heard that sometimes a lone dog will feel a bit sad when they don't have company when back at home. We have learned that it is best to introduce our new visitors slowly so an extended visit at the start is recommended. It is also good to bring some familiar toys and your pet's bedding arrangements too. Owners most often supply the preferred diet for their fur babies. Our dogvisitors will sleep onthe deck with our two retrieversand cat visitorswill remain inside at night.

My name is Emily and I am a qualified veterinary nurse &amp; puppy preschool teacher.&nbsp;
Your beloved pets are in safe and loving hands with me. I offer pet sitting in my home, doggy day care, walks &amp; house visits. My home is available for small to large breed dogs. I can care for other pets such as cats, birds and Guinea pigs via house visits. During your dogs stay you will receive daily updates with photos and videos. They will have access to inside and outside of our home. We have a large fully fenced yard that is perfect for zoomies. The fences are high and secured with locked gates. We live in a two storey house and the yard is accessed via stairs. Your dog can sleep where they wish: on our couch, in our room or on their own bed or crate. Your dog’s stay will involve regular walks of at least 30 minutes, playing games in our yard such as fetch, cuddles, enrichment activities &amp; treats. I usually board a maximum of two dogs at a time but will sometimes increase this to three dogs if it is a busy time of year like Christmas.&nbsp;
I work part time so I am home most of the week. We are unable to house pets that need 24/7 supervision or pets that have moderate to severe separation anxiety. We do have an infant so your dog must be comfortable around small children (we always supervise interactions). My husband is a huge animal lover too and is very involved in the care of our guests. We have two friendly and well socialised whippets (7 and 6years old). They are a male and female pair, both desexed. They enjoy zooming around the yard, sleeping &amp; going on walks. We always have a meet and greet so you can see our house and ensure our dogs get along.&nbsp;

I am familiar with most dog breeds and understand their different quirks and needs. I am confident with administering medications and adhering to special dietary requirements.&nbsp;

I understand how owners feel when they need to go away for a certain period of time and can't take their pets with them, they need a reliable and pet-loving person to help them take care of their beloved babies, so I think I'm an experienced and reliable pet sitter candidate. 
First of all, I have a lot of experience in taking care of cats' daily life, during the foster period, I can make sure that the cat's living environment is hygienic, cleaned daily, new litter for the cat within a certain period of time, and change the water once every two days to make sure that the cat has enough and clean water source. I will buy some new cat scratching boards and toys almost every month, so that pets have a pleasant environment to play, and I can ensure that I have at least one hour a day to play with my cat alone. Provide the cat with feeding methods according to the owner's needs, and ensure that the cat bowl is cleaned every day. Also，Cat snacks, etc. will be fed regularly and free of charge, and cat food safety and health will be ensured.

The environment of my foster home is the large living room and my bedroom, the foster space are attached with large floor-to-ceiling windows, which can be opened at any time, and the home has good air circulation, and the windows are all with screens. Both the living room and the bedroom are equipped with air conditioners and fans, so even in the hot summer, the cats can still enjoy the coolness.
