"Gabby was easy to communicate with and very friendly from start to finish. We were very comfortable leaving her in charge of our house and 6yo Greyhound for 17 nights when we went on holidays. Gabby sent regular messages and photos which showed that our dog was in good hands and comfortable with his dog sitter. When we arrived home both house and dog were in perfect condition. "Angela looked after our chooks and two dogs over Easter, and was fantastic. She texted photos each day, fed one of the dogs their medicine twice daily, asked questions when unsure, and the house was spotless when we returned. Would definitely have Angela take care of our pets again. Thanks!"

"I am a rescue foster carer and have 5 rescue Tibetan Spaniels and 1 rescue kitty. Four of the dogs are very traumatised due to their lengthy past of living in cages and without any human interaction, except for in a negative way. Due to this and understanding the challenges of babysitting them, I have not left them before. So, I had much anxiety about leaving them and really not that comfortable with someone coming into my home...but I needed a house-sitter.
I found Mariya after another babysitter on another Pet-sitting site let me down at the Meet and Greet stage (better this than during the house-sit which has happened to me before and also to a friend).
Mariya was (is) amazing. She is a caring, thoughtful, considerate, intelligent, capable and solution-orientated person.
Four of the dogs were manageable with Mariya providing some additional approaches in their best interests, yet all time consuming for her. However, one dog was beyond a challenge. Mariya worked with me (me remotely) for an appropriate approach that supported the dog and and also worked for the others. This really reassured me - both her frankness and the way she eagerly wanted to work through a solution. She was amazing! Another house-sitter would have given up.
I am vegan and have allergies. So, she decided without discussion to bring her own crockery, cutlery, cookware, sheets, towels so as not to contaminate anything of mine. Wow! I've never experienced such care and compassion. It definitely wasn't my expectation for her to do this.
I came home to a clean house, as clean as I left it and I'm a clean freak. I also came home to very happy babies. It was wonderful and reassuring.
OK - only negative... my kitty and one of the dogs have issued me with their Vacate Notices. They've decided to shift in with Mariya!! She was that loved by them and by all (and this was evident in the photos, clips she updated me with regularly).
I am unsure if Pawshake allow this, but would be happy for anyone considering Mariya to contact me for more information.
I feel I have not only found an amazing house-sitter, but also found a new wonderful friend.

"Midori house and dog sat for us and I couldn’t be happier with the service she provided. She was great with my dog who took to her straight away. She was very contentious sending photos/updates everyday and asking questions to check on my dogs habits and that everything was fine. The house was pristine when we got home. "Steph was fabulous! She responded pretty much immediately and was able to accommodate our late notice request for 3 nights sitting our two greyhounds at our home. She was super flexible with her time, in coming over to meet us and in being with the dogs for the entire stay. We received lots of updates, photos and reassurance and came home to a couple of very happy doggos! We already plan to ask Steph to sit again 😀"

"It’s always going to be a bit nerve wracking leaving your house and fur babies to someone else, but Char was amazing! Lots of photos and updates and we came home to a happy dog and cats. House was clean and tidy also and fresh sheets were on the bed.

"A big thanks to Gabi. This was the first time we have used a dog sitter from Pawshake. I can highly recommend Gabi. She was a great communicator and I was kept up to date on how our two dogs were during our 4 week holiday. One of our dogs has a complicated medication regime and Gabi tended to him with care and conscientiousness. It was also extremely hot while Gabi was house-sitting and she made sure our dogs stayed cool during the extreme weather. Gabi also impressed as an open, honest and friendly person. "We had an excellent first time experience with Colleen. Colleen house sat our 2 cats whilst we were away. One cat very anxious and unsure of strangers, but everything was great.
We felt very comfortable when we first met, and made leaving our cats with her, knowing they were going to be in safe hands. She did not disappoint and even messaged us to stay up to date.

"Remy was in great hands with Liz and Daryl while I went away on an extended long weekend. Liz sent regular updates and photos to ensure I was up to date with how everything was going and I was relaxed and comfortable knowing Remy was safe and happy while I was away. It gave me the opportunity to actually switch off and relax which was a great feeling. They took great care of my home and left it in excellent condition.
