I have been Housesitting with my partner in Melbourne fulltime since July, 2023. We have done housesits or different time durations, sometimes 1 month, sometimes 1 week or even 1 day, and different suburbs all across Melbourne. We mainly took care of dogs: puppys, younger energetic doggies, old quiet dogs, some more reactive, nervous or fearful dogs! Some of them required medicines or a certain way of training, with treats or toys, so we are used to dealing with different personalities of the furry ones! We have had many border collies, a kelpie, labradors and retrievers, but also smaller dogs like a King Chevalier, a Malteese, or a dachshund... But we also took care of two rabbits and many cats so far. As our experience shows, we are used to dealing with different environments and older animals as well as puppies, either in apartments or houses, since our love for animals makes us adapt to the different personalities they might present and to the various needs they require.


I have an extensive history of petsitting and have many glowing reviews I can provide upon request (more than 8 years). I also have a facebook and Instagram page with photos of my times spent with other beautiful pets.
In my petsitting service I will stay at your home and bring my own food. I have In the mornings and afternoons i will take your pets for a walk, allowing them to exercise and do their business. If its possible, I would like to sleep with then.I am a very affectionate person and will give your pet lots of love and attention. If i ever have something to do during the day, i will always return in the evening. (Actually I'm working 9am to 4pm but not everyday)In the night I never go out.

Hi, my name is Jade Appleby and here's a little about myself, I am a current university student studying veterinary nursing. I am looking to build my skills and connection to the animal community by starting from the beginning, which sparks my desire to start pet sitting. I have had animals all my life from dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, budges, and lambs. I have always had a passion for animals since I was little and have wanted to pursue this passion in my career hence why I am studying at Melbourne Polytechnics to achieve a bachelor of veterinary nursing. Besides my current study, I have achieved a cert II in animal care throughout my high school education.
I would like to consider myself knowledgeable when it comes to looking after animals as my family has had some history of pet sitting under our roof, which I would help with, like feeding, cleaning, and exercising. I am willing and happy to take any kind of pet into my house and adjust my schedule to fit that of the pets to enhance their comfort in a new environment as the pet's well-being and mental state is just as important as their physical care while being looked after by a pet sitter.&nbsp;I am able to walk, groom and socialise your pets as well as administer medications if needed. I can care for dogs ranging from 8 weeks to senior dogs. 
If I was to look after your pet I would accomodate indoor or outdoor living arrangements, daily interactions with people, physical activity such as walks or outdoor pen/ floor time, and ability to adapt or adjust my schedule to your pets normal routine to enhance comfortability. I am also about to groom your pets from coat brushes to nail trimming if desired.

My name is Kat, I have spent many years travelling the world and photographing wildlife in their natural habitat. I am a huge animal lover and enjoy educating people about all animals and animals about people ;).&nbsp;
I am certified in Wildlife Rehabilitation and Release and Advanced Cat Training and Behaviour Certificate. My experience with animals has spanned over 4 decades as my family was not short of animals growing up.&nbsp;
I have also volunteered with Animal organizations such as;

Wildlife SOS in India working with Elephants and Sloth Bears.&nbsp;
Snow Leopard Conservatory Trust in the Himalayas.&nbsp;
Rare Species Conservatory in Florida working with Tamarinds, Pigmy Marmosets and endangered Bird Species.

I have experience administering medication and working with animals that have behavioural issues. I am not limited to dogs or cats. I love ALL animals and happy to take the best of care of your fur babies.&nbsp;
My prefernce is to do home visits for your pets and take your dog(s) (or other animals) for a walk! Play with your cats etc.  As your house is your private castle I am more than happy to have background checks done and submit references etc. Feel free to reach out if your feel I am a suitable match for your family.
