Hello, my name is Zara and i am 19 years, studying a Bachelor of IT at QUT. I absolutely adore all animals but dogs will always have a special place in my heart. While i do not have any qualifications or professional experience, i have been a proud human to a bunch of loveable furballs for years! 
I have taken care of many friends and family's dog ranging from hyperactive energetic dogs to cool calm and cuddly and they've taught me the ropes of doggy happiness. I have dealt with a range of dogs and breads from extra small to large and i absolutely adore them all. I have also been to multiple puppy preschool classes as well as intermediate classes and loose lead walking classes so I have a few training tricks up my sleeve
I myself own an unfriendly dog and know how to handle walking them in public if this is a concern of yours. Unfortunately, this means there will be no doggy daycare at my house! He also has epilepsy, so i am well experienced in dealing with these medical situations and with administering oral medication.
I'm all about keeping things simple and fun. Im here if your pup needs an energizing walk and someone to look after them. Playtime? You bet! Belly rubs? Guaranteed! I want to make sure you and your dog have a positive experience.
I'm available most evenings, some afternoons and most weekends! I am located in Daisy Hill and offer dog walks which will be 30 minutes long around the neighbourhood. We will walk through the streets as well as dog friendly parks. I also offer home visits where i can check on your pets and your home about stay with them for 30-60minutes. Hi! My name is Mirrin and my experience comes from my personal life, volunteering and working with dogs. 
I have had pets my whole life, cats and dogs of all sizes. I am very comfortable interacting with animals and even in more difficult living situations I have taken up foster care. I have taken care of cats, kittens and dogs. It's important to get to know the animals you are fostering and provided for their specific needs. I have been able to give animals specific diets and medication. 
I volunteered with the RSPCA at Wacol, where I completed basic animal handling training for cats and dogs. I am very familiar with cleaning up after animals and keeping stress levels low. I also have learnt a lot of great tips and tricks for enrichment in cats and dogs. On top of this, my job working around lots of peoples yards, means I am very comfortable approaching dogs and interacting with them. 
I did some training with a dog walking company with multi dog walks in dog parks. This taught me a lot about how to monitor dog interactions and keep control of multiple dogs at once. I know the importance of building a solid bond with the dog you are walking and establishing a good recall early on. 
What's included? 
Walk - I will walk the dog in your local area and typically average around 45minutes per walk but it depends on the dog and conditions on the day. I will source local parks, tracks, etc. 
House visit - I can feed, exercise and administer most medications. I will send you pics and happy to also take out bins, bring in mail and water plants. I can wash pets as needed. 
Sitting at owners house - I will maintain a clean house and do general tasks. I can exercise for upto an hour a day and administer most medication. I cannot be at the home 24/7 and need to continue my work. Happy to wash pets as needed.

I strive to be a pet sitter as I love animals and have a passion for them. I have successfully completed a Certificate II in Animal Care Studies, so I have quite the knowledge and experience with animals.Animals that need medication such as: is taken with food, rubbed into skin and pills I can do thanks to my Certificate.I own two dogs of my own and have owned other animals from chickens, guinea pigs and cats in the past. I have also looked after horses through a school circular and through a family member who owns a horse ranch.
I have a full time job so I work during the week but can pop into feed the pets and check on them I'm also available to stay overnight and if needed for anxiety reasons or anything else I could take work off to stay at the house with the pet.
