Hello! I'm a passionate dog lover and a university student with a flexible schedule, making pet sitting a perfect way to spend my free time. While I’m not in a position to adopt a dog at the moment, I’ve found that being a pet sitter allows me to enjoy the company of dogs without the long-term commitment. I genuinely love spending time with them, and I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away.

I have previous experience taking care of my brother's dog, which gave me insight into what it takes to keep a dog happy and healthy in someone else’s absence. Whether your dog needs walks, playtime, or just some extra love, I'm here to make sure they feel at home. I don’t require pets to be vaccinated, and I’m happy to accommodate different needs based on your dog’s personality!

I am usually available all day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. My services include dog sitting, home visits, and dog walking. While I don't offer training, grooming, or administering medication, I do provide basic care, companionship, and attention for pets. For home visits, I typically stay between 1 to 6 hours, and I can water plants and bring in the mail as needed. Dog walks last between 30 minutes to an hour, and I prefer walking in parks or nearby the owner's home. For house sitting, I can stay from 1 day to a week, and I ensure home security by keeping doors and windows locked, collecting mail, and maintaining a lived-in appearance to deter any potential security concerns.

My name is Marti. I have recently moved back to Australia after 8 years of living/studying/working in Auckland, New Zealand. I am currently working at a live music venue and absolutely love meeting the different walks of life that come through ( two and four leg varieties). I love animals and have grown up witb dogs and cats in our family household. I've always had an affinity with animals, and teaching/training/partnerships are things that come naturally to me. For the past 5+ years I have been pet/house sitting for a family friend and her elderly dog and cat. Both animals require daily medications, both oral and injection and close monitoring. In the past 3 years I have been recommended to family and friends around Brisbane and have gained experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes (from Great Danes to Maltese puppies)I have absolutely loved my time getting to know your animals and have been quick to create bonds and relationships with them.&nbsp;

I am a dog lover and love cuddling and playing with fur babies. I am a school teacher so I am very reliable and trustworthy. I am available most weekends and during school holidays too.
I have my own gorgeous greyhound called Frankie, who I've had for nearly 4 years. He is very chilled and very friendly with other dogs. He is very lazy and will happily sleep all day, but also loves to go on walks. Frankie has separation anxiety so isn't left alone and I've used pet sitters many times in the past to care for him.&nbsp;
I have dog sat for friends, neighbours and I currently dog sit on another platform. When I was a child growing up in the UK, I had Irish Setters and regularly looked after a Spaniel.
I live in the Everton Park area and would be happy to travel up to 10km to care for your pet.&nbsp;
Dogs should also be able to walk nicely on the lead with minimal pulling - I'm sorry but I can't accept dogs who pull or are reactive to other dogs.&nbsp;&nbsp;
