Hi there,

We are a family of three—Jacinta, Adam, and our three-year-old daughter, Tilly. I run a boutique hair salon from home, while my husband works on-site in various cemeteries, building and restoring graves.

My lifelong passion for dogs began in childhood with our family dog, Ziggy. In 2009, I adopted my own dog, Missfit (Missy), a Border Collie x Golden Retriever, who became my loyal companion and salon assistant. Through caring for Missy, I developed a strong interest in dog obedience and psychology, which helped me address her resource guarding and anxiety.

After Missy’s unexpected passing in 2020, I discovered I was pregnant. Now, four years later, we have a lively daughter who shares a genuine love for dogs. She has always been gentle with animals, and I prioritize teaching her how to approach and interact with them safely.

Due to the rising cost of living, we’ve decided to wait before bringing a new dog into our home. We want to ensure we’re financially secure and can provide the necessary care. In the meantime, we would love to meet your furry family member and help care for them, whether for daily visits or overnight stays. We have plenty of love, energy, and outdoor playtime to share, and your pet will receive ample attention while I work from home. From time to time, I do need to run errands, so I want to ensure your furry family member is comfortable being home alone for short periods. If they tend to get anxious, I will only book dogs on days when I know I’ll be home all day. 

We kindly ask for inquiries only regarding child-friendly dogs that are comfortable around small children and have no history of aggression. Our home features a dog door for easy access to a spacious, fully fenced backyard that backs onto a bush area, perfect for exploration. We’re comfortable with dogs being indoors and even sleeping in the main bedroom if they prefer. Also please ensure your dog is up to date with their tick, flea and worming treatments, as we have a lot of bush behind us.

I’m happy to provide photo and video updates during their stay. We’ve cared for many family and friends' dogs and can’t wait to meet your furry family member!
