Hi. I'm Laura and I have no furbabies, but two human babies. They are 1 and 3 years old so your pet must be ok with SMALL children.

I’ve owned dogs and cats on and off for more than 20 years. I’d love a pet for my little people but it’s too much to take on full time, so looking after your fur baby will be a nice compromise. Pets MUST be experienced and socialised with small kids.

We live walking distance to a park and have a completely enclosed back yard and fully fenced front yard. The back yard is a strip of concrete, so it's not too pleasant but very secure for when needed for a short period, such as meal times or me dealing with a poosplosion. The front yard is secure but not escape proof, and full of interesting things, including a veggie garden and people walking past. I will often leave the front door open so dogs can come and go, but it's not escape proof, so cats and escape artist dogs will remain indoors. We live on a quiet street with easy parking directly in front of the house.

I regularly communicate with owners using videos, photos and updates about what we are doing. You're more than welcome to request more or less communication at any time and I'm happy to use your preffered method - WhatsApp, Mad Paws, Facebook Messenger, Text, Snapchat etc.

I will only accept bookings that have met with me and my kids (rabbits and guinea pig exempt), so your availability needs to be flexible around naps and bedtimes etc. I need to be confident they will be ok with the kids. I try and teach them how to behave with pets and supervise them at all times, but they are young and there is a risk of them touching a tail or putting their hand in a food bowl. Please discuss with me any temperamental triggers that we may need to be aware of so I can put some strategies in place.

I'm happy to accept last minute bookings, but we need to have had a meet and greet already, so if you think you'd like to use my services, you're welcome to come meet us now, in prepartion for last minute bookings in the future.

Pets MUST BE fully vaccinated, healthy, well behaved & sociable (with people & other animals). We often hang out with friends and family who also have pets (mainly dogs). If your pet has issues with other animals please have a chat with me about it.

Owner provides all food, treats, bed, lead, poo bags & any fav toys.

If your pet has any BEHAVIOURAL ie barking, chewing, jumping up, counter-surfing, storm phobia, marks inside, anything else?, you MUST DISCLOSE this in your initial inquiry. Not deal breakers, just good to know up front so I can manage your expectations of the level of support and care I can provide.

Please note that given the age of my kids, A LOT of food ends up on the floor. If this is a problem, let me know and I can secure your pet elsewhere during meal times.

Puppy surcharge for dogs under 1 year old as puppies are a lot of work! Please honestly disclose the progress of their house training. I can manage an accident prone puppy as long as I know to expect that.

If you declare your pet to be house trained and they pee/bleed/poo on the couch or bed, you will be charged for the cleaning bill. Fortunately I have wooden and tiled floors so there's no risk there.

An Overnight is roughly 24hrs ( +/- a few hrs). E.g. If drop off is early Saturday and pick up Sunday afternoon, then I charge 1 night and 1 day care.
