Deborah

Hi I’m Deborah, and you guessed it, I’m a huge animal lover! I have
always been around them my entire life. Growing up I lived in a house filled
with cats and dogs, and they were always treated like family. So from a very
young age I learned how to care for and connect with them on a deep level. 

I now have the honour of sharing my life with my precious 18 year old
cat Mia, who is adored by both my husband and I. 

In the past I have volunteered at a farm sanctuary for around 4 years.
In that time I was given the opportunity and privilege to get to know a wide
range of animals. I saw that they were all individuals, with their own unique
quirks and personalities. This taught me to honour their differences, and care
for them accordingly with respect and love. Because like humans, animals too
are unique and individual, so a ‘one size fits all’ approach is not what I
offer. Your beloved pet will be cared for and treated in accordance with their
own individual personalities and needs. And once you’ve cleaned up cow poo, any
other kind is a dream to clean! 

For the past year I have been doing home visits for a few friends as
favours. But I enjoyed it so much that I realised I could get paid for it and
have the best of both worlds. 

I have cared for rabbits, fish, dogs and cats, but am open to caring for
all kinds of beloved pets, with the exception of spiders and snakes! 

More and more I have noticed the rise in popularity of automatic
feeders. And why not, they’re convenient, easy to use and are a great go to for
feeding pets whilst away. However I strongly believe that that is only one
aspect of caring for their needs. So my visits will not only consist of feeding
and filling their precious tummies, I will also make the time to give your
pet/pets plenty of love, attention and companionship to fill their precious
souls. 

In the past I have administered medication to my own pets, so am
comfortable doing so within reason, if required. 

I am very reliable, and will go above and beyond to keep your precious
pet/pets happy, healthy and safe. So all you need to worry about is having a
great time away! I also understand that letting a stranger into your home can
be a bit daunting and requires a certain amount of trust. So I can assure you
that I will give the upmost respect and care to your home like I know I would
want someone to give mine. 

My schedule is very flexible, therefore I am more than happy to work
around yours to set up a meet and greet time that is convenient for you.
