I am a retired administrative assistant. I love animals and have had a close association with many.  

At Mount Macedon I had tame native animals and birds all of whom ate out of my hand and knew me well. These animals included twelve kookaburras, one magpie with a broken beak (whom I fed by hand) and a brushtailed possum with baby. All animals were fed by hand with correct food. The father kookaburra used to play games with me and sit on my hand and back. One baby kookaburra loved playing with my toes in my sandals! I have had my own lilac burmese cat.  

I looked after the burmese cat when the original owner was unable to continue caring for it. I loved her dearly. Since retiring I have looked after friends' dogs when they have been away.  

I regularly go dog-walking with friends. I would look after any animal in my care as my own.  

In addition, I have a Police Check.  

As I have retired in the last few years I am now in a position to care for animals and devote more time to them.
