Good Day Mates! My name is Matty and I have recently relocated to Adelaide from Canada! My husband Nicolas has been studying at Flinders Univeristy Med School since March 2023. Back in Canada we were the proud owners of our daughters Maisy, and Josie. Maisy is a domestic american tabby and Josie is our sweet cuddle angel and is a Short Hair Exotic. They are both continuing to enjoy life in Canada due to the strict import rules here as much as we had hoped to bring them with us. Since relocating I thought that dog walking / house sitting would be a step in the right direction for me. I used to work in Banking however have had a passion for animals ever since I was a wee one. I am now in hopes to move into the animal field, whether working at a pet store or potentially in a vet clinic. Me and my husband are both very caring individuals and have experience taking care of dogs and cats as well as a few other felines. Take a look through our photos I included ; we have my sisters dog ( Donnie a maltipoo) and Nicolas' classmates dog Bear ( who is a pomeranean) on top of taking care of our friends dogs over the years. We have also house sat for our breeder friends who have at least 7 cats at any given time and their two beutiful pups Cheddar and Jersey ( corgie and bull mastiff) Lastly we cannot forget the senior in our lives which is Nicolas' dog Tuti ( yorkie) who resides with his family in Colombia. As you can see we are avid animal people and want to ensure the animals are well cared for whether on a walk or whether you are away and they need the support and love while they await your return home.
Also if you feel you may be far from my home location , don't hesitate to reach out! I may be more than willing! Excited to meet many more furry friends while living in the land down under!
*** Note we do not currently have any pets here in Australia due to import rules, as well as the place we are renting is not pet friendly, however we are scheduled to house sit Bear ( pom pictured) while our friends are in Bali for a week in April!
