I am an experienced pet sitter, carer, fosterer and recreational dog trainer from Blackburn North, in the east of Melbourne. I have owned dogs, cats and pocket pets since childhood and pets/animals have always been a special interest of mine. I have completed units of the Cert III in Companion Animal Services TAFE Certificate including dog and cat husbandry, dog training, grooming, basic healthcare/First Aid and medication administering and am confident working with anxious dogs or dogs with some more complex behavioural needs. I am open to looking after dogs of all sizes and have experience working with Medium/Large-Giant breeds so no dog is too big or too small here. 

I work from home sewing Greyhound and other dog collars, coats and other gear, along with doing some freelance Graphic Design and Illustration work - so I have a lot of time to spend with your pup in the times when you may not be able to. I am also a member of my local Dog Obedience Club and often attend obedience classes with either my own dogs or fosters to stay practised and engage in socialisation for my dogs - and myself haha. Dogs are always a great ice breaker :) 

In my home I have a retired relaxed 4yo greyhound male and a 10 month old Standard size Aussiedoodle male (Assistance Dog in Training). They are cat friendly, adore people and are friendly with all types of other dogs. They are all well socialised with other dogs and used to co-existing with them as we often take on foster dogs outside of pet-sitting time periods. 

We also have 2 cats who are dog friendly but mostly keep to themselves and have separate areas to have some space if visiting dogs ever get overwhelming. All are desexed, vaccinated, wormed regularly etc.

I have my dogs indoors with me most of the time as I work from home so am most often here, and they sleep indoors (unless your dog prefers outdoors as my Greyhound on particularly nice warm nights sometimes does). I have a large grassy backyard with 6-8 foot recently rebuilt brand new wooden fences and a shady undercover back porch area, with some dog-crates set up as kennels with blankets and comfy pads for when the dogs are outdoors and want somewhere to curl up and snooze. 

I can't wait to meet your pet and get to know them, and provide them some love, cuddles, company and fun for them while you're away, whether you are having a well deserved retreat, having to go away last minute for work or otherwise and hope to take one at least one worry off your mind while you're gone - whether your much loved pet is okay, pampered, safe and cared for :)
