My name is Courtney. I’m a passionate animal lover - especially cats! My family consists of my husband, myself and our 3 beautiful cats.

I am a full time pet sitter, specialising in cats and small mammals. I operate within Melbourne's Inner West. I have been pet sitting with Pawshake for nearly 7 years.

My service area is Braybrook, Maidstone, West Footscray, Footscray, Sunshine, Maribyrnong, Seddon and Yarraville and neighbouring suburbs.

I offer a year-round home drop in service for cats and small mammals. Offering once and twice daily 30min visits.

I have an RSPCA Pet First Aid Certificate, ABN and National Police check.

I grew up in a multi-pet household. My family fostered cats and dogs for the RSPCA.

I also assisted with animal care at our High school's Agricultural Farm - looking after cattle, pigs and chickens.

I have ties to my local cat rescue organisation and assist with animal transport and fundraising.

I'm experienced with many animals. I prefer working with cats, fish (non-exotic), birds, rabbits and other small mammals.

Taking care of pets in the comfort of their home means I can cater to their individual needs. I prefer this method of care, as it can reduce stress on the animal.

I believe routine is very important and will endeavour to keep your pets routine as close to normal as possible, as well as engage your pet in environmental enrichment activities.

I’m happy to work with furry friends with special requirements and medication.

Rest assured you can have peace of mind that your fur baby is in the very best hands! I treat each pet as if he or she was part of my own family!

Every animal is unique, as are their likes, dislikes, energy level, personality and temperament. I find it very helpful to know these.

Please feel free to let me know your pet’s favourite toy, activity or preferred sleeping and scratching spots etc.

Included within 30min visit (max 2 pets) $5 per additional pet:

- food/water topped up

- litter box clean/ cage wipe out

- play and cuddle

Optional extras:

- collect mail

- rubbish bin collection

- water pot plants

- turn on/off lights, radios or TV

- home check (blinds, doors and windows)

Additional Services:

- Pet taxi (from $20)

**Taxi Service Area: inner western suburbs of Melbourne - Braybrook,Tottenham, Sunshine, Maidstone, West Footscray, Maribyrnong, Kingsville, Footscray, Seddon and Yarraville. Travel time under 15 mins.**

New Clients: Travel outside of service area to a maximum of 15mins return will incur a $15 per per visit cost.

Unfortunately, I can only accommodate out of service area requests, if I have jobs or commitments in the area during your date of service.

I offer contactless pick ups and returns. Locksafe is my preferred method.

In person key pickups/returns may incur a $10 fee. Additional meetings and trials will be charged as a visit.

I take OH&S very seriously and am unable to take on jobs where there is major renovation work occurring, exposed wiring, no utilities or no clear unobstructed paths.

I am also unable to take on pets with a history of aggression or untreated medical conditions.

During pet care arrangements, in the event of accident or illness, pets are required to see a vet promptly. This is at the owner's expense. A fee will be charged for any additional time taken to arrange veterinary care or for observation.

All pet care arrangements must comply with the relevant Local and State laws and meet the RSPCA and Agriculture Victoria pet care guidelines.

Please ensure your pets are up to date with flea/worm treatments, microchipped, vet checked and vaccinated, where applicable.
