Hi - my name's Daniel.

I'm a Theatre Producer, who has worked in London's West End, Broadway and internationally, and produce plays and musicals.

I'm new to PawShake - but have done many pet and house sitting stints via other websites and for family and friends over the years. I'm availalbe for house sits from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast and even down to Byron over the Festive Period.

I have freelance work ongoing, and will be working from home so will be available practically full time to look after your pet.

I'm amazing with animals, particularly dogs, but also love cats (and the musical too!).

My sister professionally breeds Golden Retrievers and is an expert on dog and animal care, so would be an extra layer of support I add to having the responsibility of looking after your pet(s)

I am extremely clean and tidy and organised. I'm a non-smoker. Single, 49 years young. Very healthy/fit conscious, so love long outdoor walks with furry friends. I'm also very easy going, quiet and very respectful of environment and neighbours.

I grew up in a family that always had animals - dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and lizards - I even lived on a farm for many years as a kid, with cows and goats!  

I've recently returned from living in London (UK) for 20 years, and am basing myself back in Australia, on the Sunshine Coast / Brisbane / Gold Coast area to be closer to my family.

I've just finished working in Sydney with Opera Australia working on their spectacular production of WEST SIDE STORY on Sydney Harbour. But I'm now back in Queensland until early 2025 - which makes me currently available for house and pet sitting over the coming months!   

I've been living with family in QLD in Kings Beach for most of 2023 and have been basically looking after my family's Golden Retriever puppy Shelby - two walks a day (2-3 hours) and lots of playtime, so very comfortable with looking after the needs of beloved furry family members.
