Hello!
My name is Peta and I've loved walking, dogs and walking dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mother ran a small non-for-profit dog rescue that I spent my childhood helping manage, meaning I have extensive experience with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. I know that each pooch has their own history, personality and needs and understand how to create a trusting bond between myself and the pup.
I offer both dog walking and sitting services. Depending on what you and your pooch need, the length of our walks can range from 30 minutes to an hour and a half and will primarily happen on weekday mornings. I am the proud mother of a 9 year old Fox Terrier and we go on daily walks, so we know some great spots that will suit all kinds of dogs. I can also bring him along if your pooch desires a friend!
When looking after your dog at home I am willing and able to administer medication, feed and water your pooch, keep their living area clean and engage them in basic behaviour training and/or play! The length and responsibilities of home visits can be negotiated client to client but generally I am able to stay overnight, making sure your pup has had a walk, dinner and breakfast and am happy to do small household tasks such as put out the trash and water the plants while I'm there. I will always conduct myself professionally and with utmost discretion when in and around your pet/home.
With every arrangement I am happy to send you updates and will be sure to communicate when required. I also have access to a car if your dog needs to be transported anywhere during our booking.
