Hello there, my name is Catherine and I am a loving mother of one small fur baby that is my World. I love to hike, walk in the park and curl up with a good book. I work on a casual basis, so I have plenty of time to devote to animal care.

I have loved animals from an early age and have cared for a myriad of animals over the course of my formative years, including cats, dogs, fish, mice and rats. I have consistently devoted my life to the welfare of animals. Whether it was raising rats rescued from the pound, caring for the guinea pigs sold to us by the Rockhampton Zoo or rescuing the poor unfortunate lizard my brother accidentally flushed when bathing his new friend. I have always jumped at the chance to learn more about animals and their ideal environments.

For the last year or so, I have volunteered in the Cat Flu area of the RSPCA in Wacol. I have learnt about the unique challenges that each cat can face, in a shelter environment and the importance of health care management and behaviour training. I have assisted with direct animal care, hygiene control and provided individual enrichment activities for each animal that I have cared for.

I am an honest person who would be happy to care for your dog, cat, bird, guinea pig, rat or fish within your home. I am also happy to help care for your house while your away, including bringing in mail and watering the plants. Each home visit will be 30 mins.

I provide a dog walking service only, as well. Walks are minimum 30 mins. I would prefer to help those within the Sherwood/Corinda/ Oxley area or within short travel distance from Corinda. If the booking is outside the suburbs mentioned above, I charge an extra $3 per visit.
