Hi there! My name's Eleanor, I'm a paramedic in Canberra and love caring for animals in my spare time.

After using Pawshake services a few times for my little kitten Arlo, I want to do the same to help others out too :)

As a client of Pawshake, I am aware of what is expected of pet-sitters with regards to the specific needs of the pet, as well as regular communication and photo updates with its owner/pet parent to reduce any worry.

My motivation to become a petsitter is honestly to spend more time with beautiful animals. They make me so happy and relaxed, and caring for them makes me feel so fulfilled. I regularly donate to RSCPA to help support their work, so I decided I also wanted to give my time to help support others in caring for their pets too.

I have grown up with cats, guinea pigs, fish and mice, and had a dog as a child.

I'm happy to provide home visits for all kinds of pet care and dog-walking, and have experience ensuring pets are given any medication they need. I appreciate a clean home for a pet and am happy to do litter changes or anything else needed. I am very cautious and advocate for animals' needs and would be certain to ensure they get any emergency care they need if something comes up too. 

I also have Pet First Aid Certificate from the Australian Red Cross :)
