Rachel

Hi there! I am Rachel, a 30 year old Singaporean living in Melbourne. I am a strong advocate for adopting animals and that all deserve to be loved. I have a heart for all fur babies and hope to be able to foster those living in shelters while they wait to go to their forever homes.

Fun fact about me - I grew up with 8 bunnies for 15 years! I have an 11 year old sheltie back in Singapore called Glade (danish for "joy"), and have regularly taken care of 2 other dogs - Maggi the cockapoo, and most recently here in Melbourne, Jelly the chihuahua! I have also done volunteer work at my local dog shelter on weekends.

I live in a 2 bedroom apartment at East Melbourne with my partner, walking distance from Fitzroy Gardens/Yarra Park.

🐾 1 animal at a time (or 2 if the dogs know each other)

🐾 Services: Daycare/overnight boarding, walking (not professionally trained in grooming but able to do basic brushing, not professionally trained to administer medicine)

🐾 Walks 2x a day — morning & evening, 20 min (great off-leash parks nearby with many other dogs!)

🐾 Currently work from home so I will be at home with your furbaby for most of the day unless I need to run adhoc errands (partner will be home on weeknights and weekends)

🐾 No balcony but ample space to roam in living room and bedroom, can sleep with us in the bedroom at night (owner to provide own pet bed)
