About Me

Hi! I'm Alex. I'm originally from the UK but have called Australia home for almost 20 years now, and I currently live in Ferntree Gully with my family and our furbabies - Blossom and Sunshine the cavalier King Charles spaniels, Chestnut and Tinsel the cavoodles, and Monty the rescue cat (who is 17 years young!). Over the years we've also had many small pets including dwarf bunnies, hermit crabs, rhinoceros Beatles, stick insects, fish, and a bearded dragon...yes, we're those crazy animal lovers! I adore spending time with animals and I would be honored to look after your furbabies, and realize the responsibility and trust that goes into caring for someone else's beloved pets. I have a current police check, working with children check, and can provide references on request.

Services Provided

I offer daily or twice daily in home visits for pet minding while you're away on holidays, in hospital, or while you're out for a long day at work. These visits are for up to hour during which time my attention will be 100% focused on your pet and their well-being. I will also make sure to text you after each visit so that you know that everything's well. Home visits include (but are not limited to):

• Feeding/watering your pet

• Attention and affection

• Playtime - fetch, tug, flirt pole etc

• Toileting and clean up

• A short walk (up to 30 minutes)

• Administering medications (I'm very experienced with both oral and injected meds)

• Basic grooming such as brushing and deshedding (I can bring my own tools for this or use yours)

• Putting out bins and collecting mail
