About Alicia
Outside my door I heard a dog's cry. I looked out the window and there I saw, an anxious, fearful dog and a confused pet sitter behind it. The dog had been attacked by another dog passing by and the pet sitter didn't know what to do. That's a mistake a lot of people in the pet sitting industry make. They increase the safety risks of your pet by agreeing to take on a pet sitting job without being fully prepared. Fotunately, I have dedicated eleven years of my life to avoid these types of situations in the first place.
As a veterinary student and a dog owner myself, my priority is a pet's safety and health. My previous experience working in a dog & cat boarding facility has also taught me how to correctly read their body language. This skill will allow me to be one step ahead of any potential dangers to your pet. If your pet shows moments of distress or agitation, I will be able to keep your dog calm within your home or during our walks.
Fortunately, being a veterinary student also comes with medical experience. Therefore, if your dog is in need of special medications or has health problems, I am equipped with the knowledgeable skills to administer pills, injections, fluids and more.
Furthermore, my client's happiness is also my priority therefore, I will always obey any set of instructions that you provide for your pet, for emergencies and in respect to your home. Nothing would bring me more joy than seeing you and your furry friend feeling secure and comfortable in my abilities.
