About Summer & Hayden
Experienced dog owners & pawshakers recently returned to live in Sydney from Auckland, after saying goodbye to both our senior French bulldog & Pug cross (pictured).
Started Pawshake in NZ as we were desperately missing them, and have built up a strong reputation, regular dog sitting relationships & reviews there as we found a passion for it. But accounts don't transfer between countries so included a screenshot of our reviews there and we're starting fresh.
We're had dogs of all sizes all our lives, from puppies through to the priviledge of old age, and understand their requirements at all life stages. We have experience with high-needs dogs, requiring daily medication and careful monitoring.
Most importantly, we absolutely adore animals and believe they bring unimaginable joy to our lives, and would be so honoured to take care of your pet - no matter the type. We've also had cats and love their company, and with a bit of a brief I would be confident taking care of any other type of animal too!
We're based in Camperdown and well set up for a house guest. We're used to dogs ruling the household (but am also happy enforcing no furniture or bed rules!), we're fully fenced and have a lovely shared rooftop garden (pictured) and several parks including a fully fenced dog park is a few minutes away. We're also more than happy to stay at your home if your animal would be more comfortable - it's all about them, after all!
We work from home and keep a very flexible schedule so can work from your place, your pet can work with us from mine, and we can support with any particular requirements through any time of the day or night.
After seeing my precious dogs through to the end, I'm a huge advocate for working around what suits them to ensure they're happy, comfortable and feel safe at all times.
