Anize

We are a Kiwi-Dutch couple living in Freshwater, just a 2 min walk to the beach. Anize is 31 years old and from New Zealand and Thom is 34 years old and from the Netherlands. We have recently moved to Sydney from Auckland (where we were based for 2 years), and we were previously living in Amsterdam, which is where we first started using Pawshake.

We have both grown up with dogs throughout our childhood and really miss having one now. However, since we are not yet in the position to buy our own dog, we thought we would sign up as dog sitters instead!

At the moment, Anize has taken some time off work so she has aaalll the time for dog hangs (and thom works from home a couple days a week, so he's sometimes around during the day).

We live on the ground floor of an apartment building, in a lovely, one bedroom unit. The apartment is small, so it wouldn't be fair to take a bigger dog, and there is a small patch of grass directly outside (although not fenced) and we are less than a minute's walk to the park. We put a big emphasis on taking the dogs out for walks (it's the highlight of every dog's day) and with a small indoor space, we definitely feel it's important to give them that exercise and stimulation (and we also just love going for walks ourselves).
