Hey! I’m Mel. I’m located in Darlington, near Midland. I’m a big animal lover. I used to do doggy daycare and boarding on here but stopped when I got a dog of my own, so I could focus on him while he was a puppy. I’m finally back!
🐱 CAT BOARDING: My peaceful converted cubby house is your cat's home away from home. It's fully insulated and features an indoor and outdoor area with shaded sun - cats love it! Fully secure, locked, and with camera monitoring. Your cat will get lots of attention and play throughout the day.
🐶 DOG BOARDING: With a very large grassed and fenced yard, my kennel is a comfortable and stress-free place for your dog to stay. My kennel is insulated, with a comfortable bed, different surfaces and camera monitoring. Your dog will get lots of attention and play throughout the day and can be kept busy between with kongs and chews as preferred by owners.
🦜 BIRD/PARROT/OTHER PET BOARDING: As a parrot owner myself, I know it can be hard to find the right person to care for them. If you have a special pet that needs care while you're away, send me a message.
🏠 HOME VISITS: For cats and dogs, if you’re going away and have to leave the pets home or if you’re out for long periods of the day. I can come and visit to provide some activity and excitement in their day. They will get lots of play, pats and whatever else they may need. I will spend approx. half an hour with them so that they’re ready for a big nap after I leave.
🦮 (*not currently avail. WALKS: I’ll drive to you and walk your dog around its neighborhood area for approx. half an hour. I’ll ensure your dog has a positive walk with lots of time to sniff things and have fun. I will NOT take your dog to a dog park or let it off-lead. Safety first. If you provide some of his/her regular meal food or treats, I’m happy to also do some basic training within the walk for mental stimulation - because nothing tires a dog out more than using their brain! I'M EXPERIENCED WITH LARGE AND REACTIVE DOGS.)

My Wife Tracey and I would highly recommend Mel to look after your pets. Mel helped us with a sticker situation where we need emergency accommodation for our 2 dogs and 2 cats for a week while we were in temporary accommodation. Mel's communication from first contact until we collected the pets on the final day was 2nd to none and we couldn't have asked for a better service. It was great having Mel drop in and check on Rocco for a few days over the last couple of weeks when I had to be out all day. I know that Rocco appreciated it, and I certainly appreciated the regular updates from Mel. Mel is super reliable, so I disn't have to worry and to get on with the job that I had to go and do.
