Ciao! 👋

I'm Umberto, but everybody calls me Umi. I've always loved dogs, since I was a baby. After moving in Australia and marrying the woman of my dreams, I have been lucky enough to adopt Sunlight, a vivacious Labrador Retriever that never runs out of energy. It's safe to say Sunlight is the childhood dream I have achieved as an adult. Even though I always wanted my own dog growing up, I am lucky to say that my daughters will grow up alongside him and have him during their childhood.

As a husband and as a father, I'm always looking for extra ways of income. But I would never be a dog sitter if I didn't absolutely love it. I love animals, cats and dogs in particular. I enjoy spending time with them, playing with them and even just observing them. I can safely say that dogs have taught me just as much - if not more - than what I have taught them.

But enough about me. Let's talk about what's in it your beloved dog.

I will take great care of your doggo. That means regular walks, playtime, plenty of food and fresh water. I've been around animals my entire life, so I know how to handle both small and big dogs. I am physically strong and able to take care of the biggest breeds, but I also have a delicate touch and I love smaller dogs just as much.

I take this job very seriously, and I make sure our furry friends are NEVER left unsupervised. Having experience with dogs means that I know how to behave in every situation, whether they leave a poop in the streets (I come prepared with my own bags and wipes) or just need a little bit of extra care at home.

What's in for your dog:

- Lots of cuddles and attention (do I even need to specify this?)

- 3 daily meals (or as many as instructed by the owner)*

- Plenty of outdoor time when the weather allows it

- 1:1 time with me

- Regular walks (GPS-tracked in real time, so that you always know where your pet is)

- Photo, video and text updates

- Free treats (how could I not? 🥹)

*Please provide your own food whenever possible. I wouldn't ever let your dog starve, so I must ask for an additional $5 per day if you wish me to provide the food for your dog(s). It's also important to let me know about your dog's allergies and dietary requirements, if there are any.

Upon request, I can organise special activities such as:

✳️ Basic training sessions (sit, stay, up, down, lay down etc.)

✳️ Washing with top-quality dog products & Towel drying

✳️ Play sessions with specific toys (thug play, ball fetching etc.)

✳️ Photos and video recordings, or video calls keeping you updated during the entire time

So, why should you choose me?

1. I love dogs. I think that's more important than any experience or qualification. I genuinely love what I do, because I enjoy spending time with dogs.

2. I'm highly experienced. Being a dog owner, I know what it means to take good care of a dog. In my life, I've had the pleasure of spending time with dogs of all kinds and sizes.

3. I know how it feels like being on the other end. Before being a pet sitter, I've had to deal with pet sitters. That's why you can expect photo updates, GPS tracked walks and even a few videos at the end of the experience.

4. I'm always a phone call away. Sure, online chats are great. But you will also be able to reach me via message, phone call or video call whenever needed.
