My name is Pilar, I am 37 years old, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I live in Perth with a work and holiday visa.
I am currently studying to improve my English. I have experience in pet care, including feeding, walking, and administering basic medications. I make sure that pets are safe, happy, and comfortable at all times. Their walks last an hour, and I can do them twice a day if needed. Ideally, the walks would take place in a nearby park where the pet can exercise and burn energy.
In cases where house-sitting services are required, I would try to ensure that the pet spends as little time alone as possible. When alone, I check that the pet has enough water, food, stays in the designated area, and ensure the house is secured according to the owner’s instructions.
As for myself, I’ve had pets since I was little, including large and small dogs, cats, and a turtle. I believe that living with pets around you is one of the most beautiful kinds of love you can receive, and it’s also an important part of a happy childhood. I only trust people who love animals.
Currently, I help a friend in Argentina rescue abandoned cats from the street, care for them, and find them new homes.
I truly enjoy spending time with animals, playing with them, and making sure they get enough exercise. I believe my patience and love for pets make me an excellent caretaker, so this is a fantastic opportunity to work in Australia.
