Hello!

My name is Amy and I'm a dog lover from way back. 

I currently do not have a dog as I'm renting my place, but I grew up with Great Danes, and can't wait to get my next one in mid-2024.

I work 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, (2 days are work from home and the other 3 in the city) within the Higher Education sector. 

Experience

I volunteered back in 2015 at Save a Dog centre for a short period of time, but it became to hard with full time work. Since then I have just looked after friends, family, and through word of mouth contacts.  

I have provided dog sitting on and off over the last 7 years, while maintaining my normal 9-5 job. 

I am experienced in handling, exercising, and feeding, and am generally happy to be away from my place for up to 1 week at a time. Extended bookings (10 days or more) require a mininmum of 1 months notice.

My pet care services

Dogs only, as I'm allergic to cats.

As I rent, I cannot offer to have your dog(s) at my place, but I am more than happy to do either of the following:

Dog & House sit

Dog and house sit at your place (which I believeed is preferred for dogs anyway in their own space!) while you're away. Depending on the poochie, 1-2 walks a day, lot's of play time whether that be tug of war, a game of fetch, or just lots of snuggles.

I always make sure to send you photos/videos of your paw baby while you're away.

Stop in

- Call in twice a day (AM & PM) to walk and feed the dogs

- I will always send you videos and pics of your pooochies while you're away

Please note that this option will only be avaiable for people within 15-20k from me.
I usually go to the gym everyday, so when I housesit, often I will use my gym time for exercising the dog. Whether that be a 20-30 run, or a 30-40minute walk to the park for some ball time!
