Hi, I’m a passionate and experienced pet and house sitter with a deep love for dogs, especially Dachshunds! I will treat your pet as my own, ensuring they are safe and comfortable with focus on their individual needs and plenty of snuggles, giving you peace of mind during your time apart.

I am the owner of my beloved Dachshund, Wally, and have a deep understanding of the unique needs of this breed, including their sensitivity to back issues, tendencies for separation anxiety and reactivity, as well as their love for plenty of snuggles and burrowing under blankets.Wally will be joining me during pet sits and is accustomed to meeting many different furry friends.

Expertise:

- Special love for Dachshunds: While I have looked after many different breeds, I have a particular affection for Dachshunds and can accommodate their special needs.

- Understanding of IVDD: I take great care to prevent jumping and other actions that can stress a Dachshund's back, ensuring their safety and well-being. Have experience in caring for dogs who have had IVDD surgery.

- Helicopter dog mum: Always attentive and watchful, especially while out on walks and in the yard. I don't go to dog parks but will ensure your pet gets lots of exercise.

- Experienced with elderly dogs and special needs:

Whether your dog requires nappy changes, medications, assistance with blindness, or special dietary considerations, I have experience providing compassionate care for older pets.

- Food aggression awareness: I’m skilled at handling food aggression and can create a calm environment for feeding.

- Flexible and reliable:I work from the office only two days a week, and Wally is always with me. When dogs are comfortable together, they can stay with each other while I run short errands.

- Coordinating care for multiple dogs: I have managed up to three dogs (and a cat) at once, attending to each of their special needs with patience and care.

- Plenty of walks and exercise:I make sure every dog gets the outdoor time they need for both physical and mental stimulation. Even if it's just a leisurely walk so they can have a good sniff.

- Comfortable sleeping arrangements: If your dog enjoys sleeping in the bed, they’re more than welcome! I strive to make them feel as comfortable as possible.

Your furry family member will be in loving, experienced hands, and I will go above and beyond to make sure they feel comfortable! 🐾☺️
