Hello fellow dog lovers! Welcome to Pawshake’s highest rated SA sitter - Baxter’s Friends With Paws! 🐾 

I'm a proud parent to my fur-baby Baxter, who is a 11 year old Pug X Cairn Terrier AKA 'Pugairn'. I am a working professional but with flexible working hours. I spend my free time with Baxter & friends, going on long walks or visits to the dog park & beach - which is his favourite place in the world!

Baxter works as a volunteer therapy dog for GAPSA in his spare time & is a very friendly, patient, fun loving boy who loves to share his home - making him a great doggy companion!

I specialise in Home Dog Boarding, which we have been doing for 9 years & are very passionate about all animals!

My home is situated just around 10 minutes drive from Adelaide’s CBD towards the beach. Our furry guests are welcome to sleep inside or out & we can provide which ever option you have at your home. We have lots of toys for the pups to play with & the beautiful beach just a few steps away, 

I will treat your pooch like my own with lots of love, care, nurturing & plenty of fun! They can be walked every day, feed them as per your instruction, provide regular photo updates & can continue basic training using the Positive Reinforcement Method on request.

Your best mate will live the pampered pooch life, with trips to the dog park on weekends & to the beach on warmer days when possible. I also upload fun photos of your pooch regularly for your ease of mind during their stay!

Please note I only offer home dog boarding services & are not taking any new bookings for Doggy Day Care at this stage.

Minimum 3 night stay for all boarding bookings (unless on trial night stay) 

Please note we only take a maximum of two bookings at any one time. Apologies in advance if we are unable to accomodate your fur baby during your preferred dates due to this. I like to ensure every pooch that stays with us gets enough of our time, love & attention!

My preference is small to medium dog breeds, similar to Baxter’s sizing.

We unfortunately do not accept bookings for puppies or dogs less than 3 years old.

For our regular puppers coming for longer stays, please aim to book 12 weeks out to secure your preferred dates. 

We only accept de-sexed, up to date vaccinated, wormed, flea treated & toilet trained pooches. We will need to sight your updated vet folder details prior to your booking commencement. 

I'm experienced with dietary requirements & also administering oral & injectable medicines. I'm also experienced in caring for senior pups with diabetes, arthritic conditions & those undergoing chemotherapy treatment, who need that little bit of extra TLC 

Please be confident that your pup is happy to get along with other types of doggy guests. Our top priority is to ensure every pooch has a comfortable, safe & fun holiday at their favourite home away from home!

For first time boarders, you can book a one night trial stay for your pup before you go ahead with the booking. This can help to ensure that your pup is the right fit & completely comfortable with their new surroundings & anxiety free while you are away.

The per night booking is for a maximum 24 hour period. If your pick up time is more than 3 hours apart from your drop off time, than you may need to book one 'Doggy Day Care' day to cover the extended time in care. 

All you need to provide is your pups regular food, bowl, bed, treats, medication (if applicable with instructions) & lead/harness as the basics. We provide the love, fun & everything else in between!

Your booking cost per night includes Pawshake premium pet insurance for peace of mind & also our website fees to keep this fantastic service going!
