Hi all! I'm Jess, I'm from England and I'm currently travelling around Australia with my boyfriend Sam. I'm living and working in Brisbane until April 2025 as an Environmental Advisor/Waitress and love being out in nature, whether it's running, climbing, surfing or just having a sunny wander through the park. 

From my childhood friends to my current companions, I've had a variety of pets throughout my life. Including; dogs, cats, fish and insects. Good news! I also love reptiles, so snakes, geckos and amphibians are never out of the question. I've also previously worked as a zoo keeper with Apes, looking after Western Lowland Gorillas. And, at a kennels, helping to look after retired Greyhounds and general day to day care of multiple dogs and cats. 

I have a family dog called Barney the Parsons Russell (12), and my boyfriend has a dog called Tarka the Cocker Spaniel (2) back in the UK. Both are very cuddly dogs but nervous in public, so I am use to pets that may require some special attention in areas. All of my pets have live long and happy lives, which has sometimes included having to administer medication as well. 

Throughout my travels, I've been able to meet so many new people and have had the honour of spending time in their homes and with their families and pets. I've thoroughly enjoyed these experiences and would love the opportunity to care for some pets in my downtime. 

I respect that everyone's home is a private place and should be treated with the upmost care and the welfare of your pet(s) is my top priority. My aim is to spend some quality time with animals, whilst leaving you with total peace of mind about your pet(s) care. 

I am also a registered member of Trusted Housesitters and Aussie Housesitters, and am more than happy to provide references upon request.
