Hello, my name is Loïc, and I'm 28 years old, originally from France. I'm currently finishing my PhD in biochemistry at the University of Queensland. I've dedicated most of my life to studying biology, with a focus on applying it responsibly to protect wildlife, which is one of the reasons I was drawn to Australia.
From a very young age, I’ve had a deep love for animals and nature. Growing up surrounded by animals, my passion for them started before I can even remember. During my teenage years, I developed an interest in "exotic pets" and cared for rats, mice, hamsters, rabbits, and even a snake. I've always had dogs, like Labradors and Bulldogs, and cats, though I can never choose a favorite between the two!
Now living in Brisbane with my partner, I’ve had the chance to volunteer and foster animals, especially rats and dogs. My love for animals led me to adopt my dog Oreo, and over the years, I’ve cared for more than 30 rats (currently, I have three, as they have a short lifespan). With extensive experience caring for a wide range of pets—from dogs and cats to more exotic animals—I know how to create a safe, loving, and playful environment for them.
Whether it's regular walks, playtime, or administering special care, I am passionate about giving each pet the attention and affection they need. With years of personal and volunteer experience, and a genuine connection with animals, I’d love the opportunity to help you take care of your pets when you need a trusted, reliable pet sitter.
