I have had pets all my life. I have had a variety of pets. My first pet was a dog called Tiger when I was three years old. I have had more dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, a horse and even a pet sheep called Tom. I currently have a female black cat called Jet, who is 8 years old. Jet came to me from the Cat Haven seven years ago.

I have just retired so there are no problem spending enough time with your pets. I don't intent to sit at home and do nothing. This job allows me to get exercise and be out and about. I know that pets get lonely being by themselves all day. I have done pet sitting for my neighbour, who had two guinea pigs. I cleaned their cages, fed them, changed their water bowls, and covered then up at night. I got up early to uncover the cages.

I will give the pet full attention. I offer home visits and dog walking. 

Dog walking will be at least 30 minutes to be arranged with owner. 

The home visits will be feeding, cleaning, spending time with pets and dog walking when required. How much I spend with the pets is arranged with you. 

My daughter also does pet caring so I know what the job entails. I don't do house sitting. 

I have a current police clearance and working with children certificate. I am also fully vaccinated for covid.

My services include watering plants, bringing in the mail, putting out and bringing in rubbish bins.

I would need to meet you and your pets before I accept the job to ensure that you and your pets are comfortable with me. I can do daily updates on your pets if you require it.
