I love house sitting and fall in love with most of the pets (dogs, cats, chickens, and even a horse) I look after. I'm a retired public servant who has been house and pet sitting for over 5 years. I've found I'm particularly good with rescue and older dogs but I love being with all of them. I have considerable experience now with giving medication to animals. I also do care tasks like brushing and washing dogs and/or their being, I'm experienced in managing special diets and other care needs as required. I do pet sitting at your home which will include dog walking.

I'm very reliable, and as a very private person myself I respect your privacy, and your home. I have a very quiet lifestyle and so am home with your pets much of the time. I am very experienced at looking after homes and animals and have been very competent to deal with a range of situations that have arisen during my house sits. I'm also very mindful of your need for the security of your home and respectful of your privacy. I walk each day for my own exercise and love it when I have a dog to keep me company for up to about 4km a day - btw I love cats too, even though they can't accompany me on my walks. Because I'm now am older person I'm not keen on big dogs or dogs who pull on the lead and am possibly a bit boring for boisterous dogs and puppies who need someone to run around with. But I'm great with dogs that like to cuddle up.
