Hi there. We're Barb, Miles, Chopstick (Choppy) & Jilly. We're located in Hughenden in North West Queensland. We're a family that loves dogs. We rescued both our dogs- Choppy is a 10 year old - Jack Russell x, & our newest addition, Jilly, is an 3 year old Border Collie x. Both our dogs are very social & fun-loving, & get on well with other dogs. For the past four years, our family have been foster carers, and looked after a range of different dogs in that time - big, small, trained, untrained, inside, outsde...and all that's in between! We have also had some fun travelling Australia housesitting and petsitting as we go! We are an active couple and happy to take your dog for plenty of walks while in our care (if that's what they like).

We can be flexible to your dogs needs , & happy to do whatever it take to make your fur-baby feel at home in our care. As travel lovers ourselves, we know it's sometimes hard to see everything you want to with animals in toe. We're here & available to help out, so you can let your hair down & have a good time while in #outbackqueensland! We're happy to look after your dog/s for the day, overnight, or longer stays.

Please note, we both work during the day Mon-Fri, so stays during this period will be unsupervised. Unfortunately we will only accept dogs - our Choppy doesn't get on well with Cats & Chickens. A bit about our yard & home - we have a fully fenced yard with lots of shade & secure gates. Please note, our front fence is approx. 4 ft high, so not suitable if your dog is a jumper. Small/medium house-trained dogs will be welcome to come in and out of the house during the day. House trained dogs are welcome to sleep inside, or if your dog prefers to sleep outside - we have a nice carport area for a comfortable nights sleep. We are able to take your dog on 1 or 2 walks per day, for 1 hour duration each.
