About Ashlyn
My name is Ashlyn.
If you're looking for an experienced, confident pet sitter and dog trainer, I'm your girl. I have been around dogs my entire life and I will have a dog by my side for the rest of it too. I have recently changed careers and I now work from home more days than not so your pets can be supervised 100% of the time they are with me.
I have previous experience with security dogs as a developer and trainer working for a government agency, and working over in Canada as a kennel attendant and tour guide of a Dog Sledding company.
I have experience feeding, cleaning and supervising over 185 dogs at once. Now I bet you no one on here has that many house pets ;-) I am also currently studying Canine Nutrition to further my knowledge and professional development.
I'm currently also working as a stablehand for a racing stables so I'll be more than happy to look after your giant four legged friends also.
I have a pen I can seperate pets if needed and I allow pets both inside and outside, so I can also seperate that way if required.
A little more about my experience:
- Worked in an Animal Shelter rehoming animals.
- I am also a qualified Veterinary Nurse.
- provide one on one private training.
- most kinds of breeds, however if I have never worked with a certain breed before I look up as much information as possible beforehand to ensure I arm myself with as much knowledge as I can.
- whelping puppies
- hand feeding puppies
- administrating medication
- large working dogs
- aggressive dogs
- and much more
Other farm animals such as horses, birds, cats, goats, etc, I have experience with.
I do NOT do reptiles.
A little about my dogs:
WHISKEY- Siberian Husky- Very playful with other dogs. She welcomes every new dog into her home like they are already best friends. Although she is quite vocal when playing, she is very gentle and will play to the preferred style of her new friend.
RAGE- Belgian Malinois - She is very neutral with other dogs. She doesn't mind if there is a dog there or not. She will say hi and then go do her own thing without bothering your pets.
IDA- Belgian Malinois - He gets excited meeting new comers into his home and will go say hello. Once he is satisfied he's had his greeting, he will go lay down somewhere and mind his own business.
If you think I'll be the right for for your family, please don't hesitate to get in contact with me.
I'll give you the piece of mind that your fur family are in safe and capable hands!
