Hi my name is Janet and I have just retired and now can spend time doing what I love best which is being around animals. I have always had animals since I was a child and now have 1 dog (Hank) and 2 cats (Xena & Sam).
I have experience with animals through my volunteering with Care for Pets, Wildlife Arc and RSPCA Community Aged Care Program. I volunterred with the RSPCA for about 3 years and found there were a number of isolated people who's main companionship was from their pet. They just needed some help in doing things they couldn't do anymore. This is why I started a Pet Taxi.
My van is fitted out with dog cages to securely and safely transit dogs and have 3 back seats where cat carriers can be fitted.
I am just starting out so would love to walk your dog or make home visits to care for your pets while you are away.
For boarding ideally dog would be cat tolerant and up to about 10 kilo as we have small doggy doors. We have a cat enclosure for your cats. The cats are in a separate area and high up.
