My name is Ruth, I'm a Social Worker and I live with my partner and our cat, Lizzie. I have been doing Pawshake on and off for several years, including overseas.

I'm very caring and responsible, for both your pet and your home. I've always had excellent feedback from previous Pawshakers about feeling at ease when they are away.

I have a passion for dogs and cats but will also be available for other pets. I have worked part-time as a dog handler with experience both in a dog day care and overnight stays. I’ve got extensive experience sitting for a range of cats and different personalities. I love getting to know your animal and what works for them.

I have knowledge in managing various dog behaviours and I have completed my Pet First Aid.

I provide:

• Home visits to your place: I come to your house and can stay for up to 30 minutes to feed your animal, play time, attend to any mess, administer oral medication. I’d be happy to provide complimentary services: mail collection, watering plants, etc. If you feel you need more time, please discuss this at booking. 
• Dog walking: Dog walks are approximately 30-40 minutes, however, I will be happy to discuss your dogs usual walk route and accommodate a slightly longer walk if needed.

I understand how hard it can be to trust a new person to care for your pet and would be available to arrange to meet you first to ensure you feel they will be in safe hands. It will also allow me to make sure your animal is comfortable with me too.
