Melody
A loving second home for your pet in Maroubra.
Maroubra
About Melody
Maroubra local family with a 4yo and 7yo, working from home full-time, missing having dogs but don't want to commit to own one. This is why we spoil the dogs we host at ours. We make the most of our time "having a dog at home" and make sure they have the best time with us.
** I am not a full time dog sitter (I'm a Marketer and Buyer's agent) so not interested in the number but the quality. **
** Your pet will have the best time away from home, lots of love and lots of cool walks and run **
** This is the second family experience. We don't charge extra for walks as we don't see it as a burden but an enjoyable moment **
**We cannot mind cats due to allergies**
** Our kids are respectful of dogs but tend to give a lot of attention and cuddles. If your dog doesn't like too much being pet, then it might not work for us as the kids will be frustrated not to be able to shower them with love **
We only offer our services here because we truely miss having a furry friend.
Where will your pet be?
The house has a fenced garden and furry friends cannot escape. I even bought a soft-flap doggy door even though I don't have a dog of my own so the pups can easily access the backyard anytime day and night.
We live in a pet friendly neighbourhood near to heffron Park, coral sea Park and Maroubra beach.
I take 1-2 walking-breaks during the workday to take care of my cognitive capacity. Dogs love to tag along :)
Expect one morning walk before we drop the kids to school, 1-2 walk before picking up the kids.
I WFH full time meaning your dog will rarely be left alone.
Over the weekend, we'll take your pet with us as much as possible. We love going for long walks, in parks, in the bush, along the beaches or rivers, and will always opt for dog-friendly places to include your pet in our adventures keep everyone happy and together.
So far, we only have snails as pets since we moved to Australia as we love travelling. Back in our home country, we have had dogs (puppies to mature dogs, up to 5 at once, chickens, birds, rabbits, turtles, fish etc..). We love animals! But don't want to commit yet to own one here. This is why we welcome other people's small pets (allergic to cats) instead.
Happy to track food intake, water, exercise and I will always send plenty of pics of your dog when I'm responsible for it to keep you at ease.
I appreciate when the daycare/school does it for me kids so happy to do the same for your furry kid(s).
Let's meet first and discuss if it's a right fit for both of us before committing to anything.
PS: my kids love to cuddle and play with dogs but also understand to give them space and quiet time.
PS2: kids prefer small dogs as they can be scared by bigger dogs. Our kids have the end-decision-making power if we host or not a dog.
PS3: police check available upon request. Not sharing my personal details publicly for security and privacy reasons.
Cheers
