HI! I'm Karen. I'm an experienced pet sitter and dog walker in Newcastle.

I have experience looking after animals of all kinds and sizes, and with different health and care needs, from energetic kittens and puppies to older animals with various health issues (including kidney disease and heart disease).

I've always had cats (and a few dogs, and a handful of fish) and know how important it is to find someone I can rely on to care for them when traveling.

I believe strongly in providing the best care for the animals AND their people. I know how helpful regular check-ins and photos can be put your mind at ease when you have to be away from your beloved furry friend.

My schedule is very flexible, and would expect to spend at least 30 minutes on each visit. In addition to filling food and water bowls, scooping litter, cleaning up any messes, watering plants, collecting the mail and doing any washing up, I will spend plenty of quality time with your animal(s) to keep them from feeling too lonely while you're gone.

I'm comfortable administering medicine and handling other minor medical needs that your pet may need.

I also know how important it is to find someone you trust to come into your home. I am a mature American woman who has passed a thorough background check to be approved for my Australian visa. I have lived in Newcastle for four years (and love it) and plan to stay for many more!
