Fernanda

We left Greer for one night with Fernanda and her husband. She is heavily pregnant and it doesn’t seem that looking after our dog was a high priority at all. We agreed at a pick up time between 4 and 5pm and Fernanda messaged me an hour prior to inform me that she had to head out from 3.30pm - 6pm. She forgot about a birthing class apparently.

I was 2 hours from her house so couldn’t rush back.

Her back yard can simply be accessed by opening the latch and anyone could have easily stolen our friendly Labrador in this time frame where she was left unattended.

I am not happy at all with the service provided and just feel that overall the hosts were trying to make a quick buck without providing quality care. I have nothing against them personally as the seem like a happy couple, just don’t offer dog minding services!!! Clearly you don’t have the pets best interest at the top of your agenda.

Lastly, their backyard is in total disarray. On the day of drop off we were alarmed to find planks of wood laying around, a jigsaw and other potential dangers in their unmowed and unruly backyard.

If you care about the well being of your dog I would not advise these carers.

I was incredibly impressed with Fernanda's dedication to myself and my dog, Parker. Our car broke down 12 hours before my husband had to fly interstate for work and I was working 12 hour days, and Fernanda answered our last-minute cry for help. She was extremely kind, accommodating and professional with our giant 6-month-old pup across the 4days. She sent me updates of pics and vids of Parker, and she even kept Parker a little longer on the day where I also had a night time class. I am extremely grateful for her kindness and loving attitude towards my beloved pup. Her and her husband :) . 100% would recommend and book again.
