About Charity
I have recently moved back home to Adelaide from London, where I was a professional dog walker and assistant dog trainer for the past 2 years. I was also a volunteer animal attendant at a dog rescue for 5 years. Providing care to dogs of all sizes from tiny Chihuahuas to giant Great Danes. Working with rescue dogs has taught me to be patient and understanding of different dogs needs.
I have a certificate in canine behaviour and psychology. I have my canine first aid. I am currently studying my level 3 award canine care, behaviour, welfare. I am also completing a short course on resource guarding.
My love for dogs has no boundaries. Young, old, fast, slow, I'm happy to cater to whatever the individual dog needs. As the owner of a reactive whippet, I understand how to care for and keep safe dogs that may have more complex needs. Owning a sensitive dog has also taught me a lot about the dog body language and has helped me to read the subtle signs that a dog is not comfortable and what it takes to make them feel comfortable.
