Hello, My name is Rhonda.

I have always had pets - mostly cats and dogs.

Throughout my married life and while raising children, I have tended to have labradors and more recently we have fallen in love with golden retrievers.

I love that each animal has its own unique personality and I am constantly amazed at the sensitivity our dogs show in various situations.

My husband and I are semi-retired and live on an acre at Mt Crosby so there is lots of room for our dogs to run around. the yard is fully fenced with very secure gates.

We have a modern brick and tile home.

We have hens and the neighbours have goats so it is quite a semi-rural area in a way.

Our dogs are part of the family and are allowed inside (except when we are cleaning the floor).

They are happy to sleep on our expansive deck at night and have both indoor and outdoor beds.

Your furry friends will not be short of attention as we are at home for most of the day.

I have a part-time teaching job which takes me out of the house for three mornings a week but I am always home before midday.

We do not have a lot of social commitments so have good availability to accept newcomers.

We have several regular little visitors who quickly become part of the family and we have heard that sometimes a lone dog will feel a bit sad when they don't have company

when back at home.

We have learned that it is best to introduce our new visitors slowly so an extended visit at the start is recommended.

It is also good to bring some familiar toys and your pet's bedding arrangements too.

Owners most often supply the preferred diet for their fur babies.
