I currently work for the RSPCA in School for Pets as a dog trainer and in shelter as a behaviour trainer.
Animals are my passion in life and I want to spend some more time with them in my local community.
At home I have my a foster cat or two, but grew up with dogs.
I welcome dogs big and small. Growing up I had a silky terrier cross Maltese. I would also regularly visit my grandparents on a sheep farm who had 3 working kelpies, so I have experience with a variety of sizes.
I am an active individual and would love to take some animals out for walks to get them some fresh air during the day.
I offer 30 minute walks. Let me know if your dog has a preferred route, otherwise we can go for an explore. I’m a big fan of sniff safaris as a form of enrichment for your pup!
I also offer 45 - 60 minute home visits. I will make sure your dog has had a good walk and has a full bowl of water before I leave. If you would like I can also water plants and bring in the bins, just let me know what you need! And of course there will be lots of cuddles for your pets before I go.
Dog training can also be provided for an additional fee. This is one of my passions and love to provide dogs with mental stimulation.
I have experience administering medications to cats and dogs, so am more than happy to do that when arranged prior.
When working with animals I use positive reinforcement and force free methods. I will only ever do something your pet is comfortable with. I do not believe in forcing things into do something they are uncomfortable with.
I am happy to take photos or videos for you, so you can see what is going on with your pet in real time!

Sammy was incredible, she went above and beyond for my little sausage pack. one of my little ones was hit by a car the day before and Sammy managed the crate rest and medication seamlessly and even a vet visit when the bandages came loose 🙏 Cant thank Sammy enough for making what would have been a super stressful couple of days much easier 💕
